Amazing experience with Mary in Asuan - We had a fantastic guided tour with Mary in Aswan. From the beginning, his professionalism and knowledge made us feel that we were in the best hands. He took us by boat to the impressive Philae temple and explained in detail the history of hieroglyphs, making everything come alive with his enthusiasm and clarity. Besides, beyond the visit itself, Mary even helped us to haggle a bit when buying souvenirs, and she has come to us at a local supermarket and has been grateful for the prices that were there, which was a detail that we appreciated a lot. His kindness and passion for Egyptian history made the experience even more special. Fully recommended for anyone who wants to discover Aswan in the best way!”

Great private tour of Philae Temple. - I had the chance to take a private guided tour of the Philae complex by Heba, and it was absolutely captivating! She is passionate and knows an impressive amount of details, which makes the tour super interesting from start to finish. She shared unique anecdotes and rich historical facts that really brought another dimension to the experience. If you are looking for someone to guide you with expertise and enthusiasm, I recommend Heba without hesitation.

Knowledgeable guide to Philae temple - We got picked up by Hedra directly from the Aswan train station. Hedra from Nice tour waited for us at our train coach and welcomed us with a warm smile. There was sweet little gifts from him too. After the pick up, we were then greeted by our guide to Philae temple, which was a friendly and knowledgeable guide, Rasha. She gave us a quick introduction about Aswan. We feel that she is very knowledgeable as she gave us detailed introduction about Philae temple - the temple dedicated to god Osiris, Iris and Horus. I have finally gotten an idea about what the temples in Egypt are all about. We were also given free time afterwards to take pictures and explored the temple on our own. It was a nice day with Hedra and Rasha though there is an excessive heat in Aswan which is expected. Perhaps it could be better if water is provided during the tour just like what we usually been provided for the tours in Cairo.

Philae temple and much much more - We booked a philae temple two hour guided tour. Our driver picked us up at our hotel and we met Mary on the way to the temple. Mary had Cold water for us and led us on a great adventure through the temple. She did a great job of explaining the various highlights of the temple. She then took us on a tour of various spices and papyrus shops. It was an amazing time. I can recommend this company highly and request Mary if you can. She is great and very patient.

Aswan , a dream destination. - A beautiful tranquil city, with magnificent views over the Nile. The old city is delightful, the older hotels incredible, especially the Old Cataract hotel, which nowadays does a brisk trade in serving wonderful afternoon tea on a series of cascading terraces below the lovely heritage building. It’s a city that offers so much history, much to see and do. The city itself is scruffy, full of life, full of beauty and kindly local people, both Egyptian and Nubian. An unmissable spot, especially at dusk or dawn, is Philae temple, on a relocated and rebuilt island that protected the beautiful Pharonic temple from the rising waters of the Nile after the New Aswan dam was built. The dam itself is hugely interesting , holding back the waters of the Nile into enormous Lake Nasser, which drowned so many millennia old sites. If you get the opportunity to visit Egypt, put Aswan as a must see, and wearing comfortable shoes, just go!
