Day One: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Agdz - Zagora

Marrakech - Begin the adventure early in the morning from Marrakech. Journey through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 meters). Take advantage of several panoramic stops to capture photos of the mountain scenery, winding roads, and traditional Berber villages nestled along the hillsides.

Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - Arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ait Ben Haddou. With a local guide, explore the ancient fortified village (ksar), wander through its narrow alleys, climb to the top for stunning views, and discover its rich history and significance as a filming location for numerous international films.

Ouarzazate - Proceed to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Enjoy a brief stop for photos and, depending on timing, explore further.

Agdz - Head towards Agdz and travel along the picturesque Draa Valley, renowned for its thousands of palm trees, kasbahs, and traditional mud-brick villages. This scenic route offers breathtaking desert-meets-oasis landscapes.

Zagora - Upon arrival in Zagora, meet the camel caravan. Embark on a tranquil camel ride across the desert at sunset, soaking in the serene atmosphere and golden hues of the landscape.

Zagora - Arrive at the desert camp where a warm welcome with mint tea awaits. Relish a traditional Moroccan dinner served under the stars. In the evening, gather around the campfire for authentic Berber music and a warm, inviting ambiance.

Overnight stay in a desert tent.

Day Two: Zagora - Atlas Mountains

Zagora - Rise early to witness a breathtaking desert sunrise over Zagora’s tranquil landscape. After breakfast at the camp, ride the camel back to meet the driver and commence the scenic journey back to Marrakech.

Travel once more through the stunning Draa Valley and the High Atlas Mountains, with a stop for lunch in the Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and magnificent panoramic views before continuing the drive.

Arrival in Marrakech is anticipated around 5:00 PM, subject to the season and traffic conditions.
