Telouet - The Kasbah of Telouet was an impressive castle: fortress, and caravanserai. This fascinating jewel combines typical Amazigh architecture and the more oriental, Hispano-Moorish style. It is testifies to the image of grandeur that the old masters wanted to display to the world. The beautifully decorated walls, the ceilings adorned with rich designs and patterns show the luxury in which lived the Glaoua, owners of the casbah abandoned since 1956.

Ounila Valley - Before building the Tichka pass, it was by this splendid track that the caravans passed through, a journey from Ouarzazate, & heading to Marrakech. The track follows the course of the Ounila wadi from the magnificent Kasbah of Anminter. Nice drive via the Ounila valley with Gold Mountains to reach Aït Benhaddou, 50 km further.

Ait Ben Haddou - It is a castle with the traditional architecture of Morocco Sahara Desert. It is on the edge of the High Atlas mountains. Ait Benhaddou is a set of mud brick construction, and it is listed as a Ksar (Palace) and not a Kasbah which is smaller. It is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
