MEETING OUR GUIDE. Your guide will be waiting at the ‘Acropoli’ Metro Station at street level which is located at 7 Makrygianni Street, and close to the Acropolis Museum

The Ancient Agora served as the hub of trade activity in classical Athens. Being the principal trading space, it was a common meeting point for people, and notably, the birthplace of western democracy and various philosophical ideologies. Renowned philosophers of ancient Greece, such as Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, selected this place to educate their disciples. The Agora was the cornerstone of Athenian democracy, where citizens were directly involved in governance, and concepts like meritocracy and legal equality were introduced during the 5th century BCE.

Overlooking this, rests the Acropolis, the epitome of classical Greece, with its Parthenon and Erechtheion, and other Temples constituting the holiest place of worship.

Our professional licensed, Archaeological guide will greet you at your Hotel or any other Athens location (if it’s within a comfortable walking distance of the Acropolis) and guide you through both sites in a private exclusive tour for your group only, breathing life into 5000 years of history.

Please note that tickets may sell out days or weeks in advance and need to be booked for a specific date and time slot or admission will not be granted.
• Please note there is some walking distance between the Acropolis and Agora so this is not suitable for persons of reduced mobility
