Amazing tour of the Acropolis Museum with Dionysus! - We really enjoyed the tour with Dionysus! He was full of wonderful facts and his enthusiasm for the museum was infectious. He told wonderful stories about different artifacts. He kept us on schedule and we really enjoyed our experience. We were tired after a long day walking around the Acropolis in the early morning and around town at some of the other sites, yet we were energized at the Acropolis Museum to learn a whole lot more. We met nearby and walked to the museum together. We really enjoyed our time with Dionysus and highly recommend him as a tour guide.

One of the best tours Anna was great - We had an excellent time. Do not try to do this on your own. Absolutely need to book a tour. There’s a lot of information that was given to us from Anna. She was so much fun. She had this great bright red hair so we could follow easily Go early in the morning as early as possible not only beat the heat but beat the crowds She knew where to stop always found a little private spot to talk to us and so therefore it never seemed like an exhausting and difficult walk A wonderful area to see there’s more than just the Parthenon obviously and and iAnna took a lot of care to make sure we were all together and understood everything HIGHLY recommend this tour It was just fantastic.

Great tour! Great guide! - Fabulous tour of the museum! Dionysus was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the tour very enjoyable!

Recommended! - I had only one full day in Athens, so decided to pay a little extra for a guided tour of the Acropolis. With our guide, Niobe, I got so much more out of the experience than I would have by just walking around on my own. Niobe is very knowledgeable and obviously has a passion for the subject. In fact, the tour -- advertised as 90 minutes -- wound up being closer to 2.5 hours. It was great to not feel rushed! Afterwards, I emailed the company with a question about the Agora (which wasn't even part of my tour) and they quickly got back with an answer.

Very informative tour - It was recommended that we visit the museum prior to visiting the Acropolis, and I am so glad we took this advice. This tour helped to make sense of what could’ve been an overwhelming visit to a beautiful and very informational museum. Viator did advertise that the cost of the museum tickets were 15€ per person. However, upon arriving at our meeting point, the tour operator charged 20€ per person, which is the actual price of the tickets at the museum door. I don’t think the tour operator was taking advantage of us. Rather I think Viator’s cost that was posted was incorrect.

The guide (Martha?) was... - The guide (Martha?) was very competent and clear. Check out the Lego block model of the Acropolis - very cool! The museum restaurant, however, was very expensive; just go outside when you're done and grab something wonderfully sweet at The Alchemist (on the side of the museum away from the Acropolis; Chatzichristou 8, Athens).

Overview - The overview of the museum was good. The host was knowledgeable and patient with the group. I would recommend this tour. One suggestion the meeting location was challenging. The museum would be a better location.

Couldn’t find starting location - We had difficulty finding the starting location and were 25 minutes late. We sent a text message to Viator and eventually our guide showed up. Tina did a great job of explaining many of the artifacts found from the Acropolis. I’m glad we didn’t miss the tour.

An accelerated tour of the amazing Acropolis Museum - The museum is amazing! Having a tour guide like Jordan to point out and explain the must-see artifacts is extremely helpful. Jordan demonstrated he's very versed in Greek history, mythology and the layout and contents of the museum. Only issue was he was running late from a previous tour and therefore had to speed through our tour to get to his next tour. Maybe a bit too much on his plate. Our tour was very good but very rushed. After Jordan ended our tour, we spent another 45-60 minutes going back through several portions of the museum, at a slower pace, to satisfy our curiosity.
