This is because visitor numbers can fluctuate unpredictably at the sites throughout the day. The typical waiting time falls within 0 to 10 or 30 minutes, though on rare occasions, it might be longer.

- IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT BABY STROLLERS: Please have in mind that baby strollers are not allowed on the Acropolis, archaeological site and that there is no cloakroom at the side entrance we use to enter. For your own convenience, it is recommended to use a baby pouch instead of a baby stroller
- When entrance to the Acropolis is free, the cost of the entrance fee is already deducted from the tour price
- If you are entitled to a reduced entrance at the site, then a valid ID or Passport is required for verification of age and nationality at the sites.

We will be waiting for you at 3, Dionyssiou Areopagitou Street. Look for the orange sign displaying "Athens Walking Tours." It is located at the start of the pedestrian walkway that leads to the Acropolis from Hadrian's Arch, Siggrou Avenue (also written as Syngrou).

THE best tour. - There are many Athens tours.
If you want one where tickets are provided alongside a friendly and knowledgeable guide filled with enthusiasm-then this osnTHE one. Oleysa was a terrific host who made the very stones come to life. 100% recommended.

Great to have someone to guide you through amazing sights - A very hot day, so glad we booked the early morning tour. Our guide Dora was brilliant at finding us shady spots whilst she shared her knowledge, helped us understand what we were looking at, made sure we didn't miss any of the essentials and gave time for questions. Me and my 11 year old daughter are so glad we booked on this tour, we'd have been lost on our own

Highlight of our trip (thanks to our great Guide)! - This was a true highlight of our trip and much of that was the guide. She was incredible. Athenian born, spoke perfect English and most importantly her deep knowledge of the Acropolis. She did an impressive job navigating the crowds, the heat, wind, and the other tour guides, choosing a great path up and always remaining calm and cheerful. A great value. So good I'm leaving a review (and normally don't) and would do it again if I could. She's pictured here, sadly I forgot her name but if you are able to take a tour with her, you will love it!

Educational, Engaging, and Unforgettable! - You may only have once in this lifetime to experience the wonders of the Acropolis. The right guide can make or break that experience....Margarita was absolutely amazing—charming, local, and a natural educator. She made the trek up to the Parthenon feel effortless, stopping at key moments to explain what we were seeing and weaving in vivid stories from mythology that truly brought the ancient world to life.
She engaged the group with thoughtful questions, made sure everyone was safe from the slippery stones and those sneaky pickpockets, and even gave us ample time to rest and grab a snack between the Acropolis and the museum.
At the end, she led us through a memorable procession around the museum’s top floor, bringing the famous Parthenon frieze to life in a way we’ll never forget.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide—knowledgeable, warm, and completely tuned in to her group’s needs. Thank you, Margarita!

The tour was very good... - The tour was very good and the guide was excellent. Understanding where to meet was a challenge. One small sign at coffee shop patio is the only indication that is where to gather for the walking tour. We walked past it four times and then had to ask another tour operator.

Great History -- Poorly Paced Tour - Extremely hot with little shade so hydration and sun protection are paramount. Maria was far too busy trying to impress us with details while keeping to a fixed schedule rather providing positive customer experience. Highly recommend this tour, but with another guide.
