• Acropolis - Arrive at our office at Mitseon 2, Athens, 11742, at least 15 minutes before the tour begins to meet your guide. The tour starts with a visit to the Acropolis hill. As you ascend, explore the Dionysus Theater, the birthplace of renowned ancient dramas and tragedies. Stroll around the magnificent Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the sanctuary dedicated to the healing god Asclepius. • Acropolis Museum - Following the Acropolis tour, enjoy a visit to the Acropolis Museum, just a short walk from the Acropolis site. The ground floor exhibits reveal aspects of Athenian daily life, including wedding customs, children’s toys, healing methods, and religious practices. On the first floor, stand close to the enigmatic archaic statues from the 6th century B.C. that once adorned the Acropolis. Marvel at the Caryatids and large sections of the Acropolis entrance. On the top floor, with a stunning view of the Acropolis, admire the original Parthenon frieze, unique in concept and artistic excellence.

• If you opted for the “WITHOUT tickets” choice, please bring cash to purchase your admission ticket at our check-in spot just before the tour. We can reserve tickets for your designated time as long as you let us know in advance that you will get them from us. Otherwise you must buy them on your own from the official sites at least 24 hours before the tour. When you book the option without entrance tickets, ask for instructions about the correct time slot of the tickets, before you buy them on you own.
• Ticket costs: If you select an option with entrance tickets included, the ticket cost is already covered in your price. If you select an option without entrance tickets, you will need to purchase them separately (the official price is €30 per adult for the Acropolis and €20 per adult for the Acropolis Museum).
• Due to strict Acropolis entry times, punctuality is crucial. Latecomers cannot be accommodated, and no refunds will be provided.
• Entrance tickets (if you select option with entry tickets included) to be handed by the guide in paper form on date and time of the visit, at the meeting point.
• We cannot use the elevator to the Acropolis on group tours
• Strollers are not allowed in Acropolis
• The Acropolis of Athens is a citadel built on top of a relatively steep hill which can be slippery at specific spots especially when raining.
• Bring a bottle of water (no cafe-bar at the site, only a water fountain), a hat, sunglasses, and an umbrella on a rainy day.
• Audio quality may be affected by other groups’ equipment during crowded times.
• Cruise travelers: The meeting point (Athenian Tours Office, Mitseon 2, 11742, Athens) is approximately 30–40 minutes by taxi from the Port of Piraeus (the main cruise port), depending on traffic. We recommend allowing extra time for morning traffic if you are coming directly from your ship.
