Spectacular day in Corinth - Peter was an excellent guide. He had an extensive knowledge of Greek history. He is a local to the area of Corinth so he was able to speak to the culture and lifestyle of the locals. He treated us to coffees and cookies to make our ride more enjoyable. The views were all spectacular and this was a truly memorable experience.

Fabulous Corinthian and Hera Day Out From Athens - This was our second private tour with Ancient Greece Tours & Transfers this month and again it was a fantastic day out. Peter arrived on time, kept us informed and entertained the whole day. His knowledge of the history and areas we visited was second to none. The history was fascinating for all the areas we visited, the museum and archaeological sites were amazing, and the views were awesome. The late lunch spot was a treat, overlooking Ancient Corinth archaeological site, and the food was great. Again we would highly recommend Ancient Greece Tours and Transfers for any tours you might consider doing in and around Athens. Special shout out to Tas and Peter, our new Greek/Australian friends... and top tour guides.

Brilliant Day - thanks Tas - Highly recommend this company – and especially our guide, Tas! We booked a one-day private tour to Poros somewhat last minute, and admittedly didn’t read the advertisement thoroughly. The booking app wasn’t very clear about the pricing being in US dollars, so at first, we were a bit apprehensive about our decision. That all changed the moment we received a call from Tas. He personally reached out to confirm the booking and, more importantly, asked what we were hoping to experience that day. After listening to our preferences, he suggested an alternative itinerary – and we’re so glad he did. Instead of Poros, Tas curated a custom full-day tour to Corinth, and it was absolutely fantastic. Our day included highlights such as the breathtaking Isthmus Corinth Canal, the Acropolis of Corinth, the Temple of Apollo, and the ancient ruins of Corinth. In the afternoon, we had a few peaceful hours to relax and swim at the stunning Heraion Lagoon – an unforgettable experience. Tas also recommended a local taverna for lunch, which was spot-on: delicious food, beautiful views, and very reasonably priced. Throughout the day, Tas shared fascinating insights into the region’s history, geography, and culture. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and attentive to our needs, making the whole experience feel personal and enriching. It was worth every cent. We left the day feeling so happy and grateful. If you’re considering a private tour, we can’t recommend this company – and especially Tas – highly enough. He truly tailored the day to us and made it unforgettable

The best tour guide for gr is ce - Me and my friends booked two days specifically with Taz. He took us to Corinth and Delphi. It was like traveling with a knowledgeable friend. The explanations and information he gave us made the trip incredible. Each day he had ensured we would eat at the best place and that we old have the best view. He knew everyone everywhere we went and ensure we felt like friends when we walked in. Five stars isn’t enough.

Wonderful private tour with Tas - My husband and I took this day tour of ancient Corinth with Tas, who was a wonderful tour guide! He drove us in a comfortable, air conditioned SUV and offered us cold water. He accommodated our schedule and was very considerate, taking lots of photos of us at many landmarks. He included a delicious lunch at a lovely restaurant. It was a wonderful private tour and we highly recommend booking any tour with Tas! I am recommending his tours to family and friends.

Corinth visit is well worth it! - Corinth day trip from Athens was amazing! We were picked up at hotel in Athens and Tas, our guide, did a wonderful overview of Greek History as we rode the hour or so to Corinth. The canal, rounding areas and Corinth itself was fascinating capped off by a wonderful meal just adjacent to the historical city. So glad we booked thru Viator but then our subsequent tours and transfers from airport and to our cruise ship we booked directly. Communications was five star and all the events themselves exceeded expectations!

Terrific Time with Tas - This is our second trip with Tess. We enjoyed the first one so much. We booked the second one with him. We didn’t really have a plan of what we wanted to see so we left it all in his hands and he delivered. It was an amazing day in Corinth and Loutraki. The old Corinth, acropolis and archaeological site were just breathtaking. Then to top it off with the delicious meal overlooking the archaeological site was cherry on the cake. Thank you to Tas for making us feel like family, comfortable, safe and lots of good laughs and treats. Thanks for another amazing day!

Unique and Memorable - In one day, we experienced breathtaking views of the mountains and seas, hiking among ancient ruins and a swim in the most perfect cove. Our guide, Peter, was friendly and we enjoyed spending the day with him. On the way to Corinth, we were captivated by Peter’s recounting of the life of St. Paul, and the significance of the pebble road that eventually became the canal. After getting the chance to stand on that pebble road, we continued to Acrocorinth, which should be on any visitor’s to-do list. The hike up the mountain was a little challenging because of the slippery rocks, but the view from the top was well worth the effort. Afterward, in the museum, we marveled at the skill of the ancient artists who created the pottery, statues and mosaics. As we strolled through the archeological site, we were shocked at how few people were there. It’s a shame that more travelers don’t take the opportunity to experience ancient Corinth. Peter then directed us to a shaded balcony table overlooking the ruins and mountains for a delicious lunch of fresh, traditional Greek cuisine. It was just what we needed to energize us for the final destination, Hera’s temple and the Bay of Corinth. Not only was the water clear and refreshing, but the experience of swimming at the base of an archaeological site was truly unique. We highly recommend both Peter and this tour. It was a highlight of our time in Greece, and we are thankful for the memories we made!

We could not have had a better experience! Well worth every second of your time and every cent of your money! - Yannis was an excellent tour guide that gave us an excellent history. The trip was thorough, yet still very relational.
