Amazing Half day Corinth trip - Our guide was great. She is friendly and knowledgeable of the area. She was always answering our questions even if they were about Greece culture or something we saw on the way to the tour location.

Historical Corinth comes alive - Our tour guide Vicky was wonderful. Her knowledge in the Apostle Paul’s involvement regarding Corinth was enjoyable to hear and reading the Biblical account of his ministry coinciding with this experience is very picturesque.

Perfect tour of Ancient land - I can recommend this tour in ways that I could not recommend the Acropolis tour. There are not a lot of slippery steps. Not a lot of rushing. Plenty of time to breathe in information and to go on your own. Kudos!

Wonderful half day experience - Very professional and knowledgeable guide. The tour is well planned. The guide also goes in with you to visit the sites and provide context and detailed explanations, which was excellent! All in all a great experience.

Fantastic Biblical history tour - 'Vicky" was an incredible tour guide. I was able to learn so much about the history in Greece as well as the city of Corinth. She also shared passages of the Bible and how they connected to the locations and culture at the time. Touring the museum with Vicky was also fantastic as she shared additional stories and info throughout. I am SO thankful I went! I was hesitant as it was cheaper than other Biblical tours of Corinth and I am so glad I made this choice.

A glimpse of the past and present - It was fascinating to see and learn about the ancient part of a city where St. Paul lived and interacted with the people during the beginning of Christianity. I had not previously known about the Corinth canal so it was also interesting to see and hear about its history.

Okay experience - The tour guide was very informative. The drive was long, but we knew that going in. The traffic was awful getting out of Athens and back into Athens, so it took longer than expected, but that’s not the tour company’s fault. Also, it was very crowded at the archeological site and the museum. Again, though, not the tour company’s fault, All in all, the tour was okay.

Visit a city of commerce and history - Corinth Canal was beautiful. Also learning about the Bema in the Agora was very good. We are inspired to read more about these sites.

More About Mythology than History - It was good, but the tour guide concentrated almost all of her information on the Greek mythology and how it applied to the area. Only a couple of minutes were based on other Greek history and only one sentence on Paul in the area. When I asked her why she didn't speak of him on the tour, her reply was that many people are not religous and don't want to hear about him. She didn't talk about even the Greek Orthodox church next to the ruins that was having a ceremony. Only when another tourist asked why the bells were ringing did she acknowledge there as a church. By not talking about it, she lost a lot of the tourists' attention and respect and they started to tour on their own. I learned more from the placards around the sites than from her on the history of Corinth. It was disappointing.

Ancient Corinth - Our short stop at the Corinth Canal was very interesting. Seeing the magnificent remains of the Templo of Apollo and ancient Corinth where Paul preached was certainly worth the trip. However, our guide, while she seemed knowledgeable, showed no concern for one of our defective listening devices. She did not carry any extra devices and replacing the battery did not help so it was impossible for one of us to hear what she said as she moved from place to place. The intense heat prevented us from moving quickly to get closer, but again, she didn't care. We finally figured out ourselves that the problem was the listening cord connection, so she reluctantly found another one (without saying a word), but it was pretty much too late and there was never an apology. Consequently, we basically paid for transportation without being able to hear and appreciate the history of the site. I am very disappointed that Viator would have a guide who did not care whether someone heard her or not and could not solve the equipment problem.
