Delphi - This tour from Athens to Delphi was a solid and worthwhile experience overall. The itinerary was well planned, with good pacing and enough time at each stop to take in the sites without feeling rushed. Delphi itself is as impressive as you’d expect—the history, the setting, and the views all make it a highlight of any trip to Greece. The stops along the way added to the experience, giving a nice sense of the surrounding area and breaking up the drive. Everything ran smoothly, and transportation was comfortable and organized. The tour guide was adequate—knowledgeable enough to provide helpful context and explanations, but not especially engaging or memorable. They covered the key information and answered questions when asked, though the delivery felt a bit routine at times. Overall, if you’re looking for a convenient and well-structured way to visit Delphi from Athens, this tour does the job. While the guide didn’t elevate the experience, the destination itself and the thoughtfully planned stops made it a day well spent.

Excellent tour - Excellent tour, well organised and everything ran smoothly. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of detailed information. It’s a long day and quite strenuous in parts but well worth it.

Amazing Tour! - An adventure through time with an amazing guide. Yannis was a great storyteller who weaved many different historical contexts together, making the tour extremely enjoyable and educational. He was funny and handled adversity well when unexpected delays occurred. I would highly recommend this tour - a great way to spend the day!

Delphi - Recommend wearing good hikers for making the climb up to the site and watch your step on slippery stone stairs

The best way to see Delphi. - This is the best way to visit Delphi from Athens. The tour group is professional from beginning to end. Pickup was in easy to reach location and the bus was comfortable, modern and very clean, with WIFI. The driver was outstanding, safe and fast. Our tour guide Fotini was excellent overall and specificlaly in explaining the artifacts in the museum and the site. The visit was far more enjoyable with the knowledge she provided. The stop in Arachova near Delphi for lunch was great, it's a beautiful ski town in winter. A great day.

Delphi day tour review - Excellent day tour to Delphi. Elena was a great guide and very informative. I would not hesitate to book a tour with Tag Athens again. Only downside was I bought my own meal in the restaurant based on recommendations from some reviewers but it took 1.5 hours to arrive at the table. The tour was well organized and definitely worth the money.

Pick another company with smaller groups - This was a miserable experience. Whilst the coach there was comfortable enough and had charging points, there were FAR too many people on this tour and it really impacted on the quality. The whisper devices were poor, with the most limited range I've ever come across. They could not sustain everyone in the tour standing around the guide. Unfortunately, the guide would not even wait for everyone to be present in the room of the museum / at the monument before she would talk. She would also talk whilst walking. Half the time she wasn't even being picked up by her mic, let alone the sound being transmitted and picked up by our devices. I'd say a solid 60% of what she said was completely missed, through poor technology and poor practice. We repeatedly tried to draw this to the guide's information but she did not seem to care. The guide had no charisma at all and felt as though she was incredibly stressed and really did not want to be there. Think failed schoolteacher. She could not even be bothered to go up to the last monument on the hill. To make matters worse, we stopped at Arachova for 2 hours. We had deliberately booked the option without lunch - which had a different departure time - on the understanding that we would not have to sit and wait whilst others had a 3-course meal somewhere but, alas, we did! We had done this because we are vegan. The restaurant where the group stopped had little to no vegan options and as for the so-called 'Greek hospitality' referred to in the text for this page... .the staff were extremely rude. There was almost nothing open and nowhere to go in Arachova, which takes all of 10-15 minutes to walk around. There are no 'après-ski vibes' whatsoever. There was nothing 'premium' about this trip at all.
