A good day - Our guide was excellent. Delphi, of course, is beautiful and interesting. The bus was very comfortable and the driver very good. The stop in Arachova was interesting and lunch surprisingly delicious.

Don't Miss It - Before I ever left for Greece, this was one of the top to-do on my list and it was breathtaking and fascinating. Every step of the way, our guide gave us information that blew my mind. Our guide was beyond perfect. He walked slowly so we, although we're older, managed to walk to the theater (you could go beyond but our group didn't) which offered a gorgeous view.
Our tour included the museum which held (as always) much of what used to be in the temples. Staggering to think about. Our guide stayed with us and provided even more information. He also talked more slowly than a lot of younger people so we were able to understand him, a rarity anywhere these days.
The place we stopped for lunch was the cutest place ever. My husband and I sat in a little private cove next to an open window on a perfect day. The view was beautiful. The food was great and so were all the people. And let me just say, I'm now enamored with the Greek people - they are the nicest and most helpful people I've ever met.
I can't believe I didn't write our guide's name down but it was on May 11 & my picture shows him in a floppy beige hat, white shirt, dark jeans, carrying a red plastic binder. It was with Key Tours (we took 2 or 3 tours with them). He had or was working on an advanced degree in Greek history, I believe, so we were incredibly lucky to have him. He was perfect.

It is extremely... - It is extremely interesting, educational, historical, moving. Many incredible stories from Greek Mythology and history of Greece. Expect beautiful but rugged terrain, hundreds of steps, overwhelming beauty of the landscape. Excellent and thorough, knowledgeable tour guide and driver. Plenty of stops along the way, information and descriptions of the landscape as you pass through.

Excellent guide, great trip - Our tour guide, Yota, was excellent. She had lots of great information, was an engaging presenter, and very kind. The museum, site, and town were all also incredible destinations. Beautiful and inspiring. The meal was tasty. The whole experience was well worth the money.
I’m not sure if Key will let you ask for a specific guide, but if so, I recommend Yota.

Amazing Delphi! - Marianna with Fun Tours was amazing! We learned so much about the history on our way there. Not only history about Delphi but also other Greek history. I would highly recommend this tour. That being said it can be very hot so take water with you especially if you plan on going all the way to the top to see the stadium (which once again I recommend).

Long drive but interesting site - Very good tour! While it is a long drive from Athens it is a very interesting site. (Did you know there were many Oracles of Delphi and they were all women?) Tour guide on bus was very engaging and gave good info. When we got to Delphi we had a local guide who did a great job as he walked us through the museum and then the archeological site. We were a little concerned about the walk up to the site but it was fine -- comparable to the acropolis -- and we just skipped walking up to very top. We had a group lunch (pay on your own) in town at a very good restaurant with lots of options -- including vegan ones.
