Perfect start to an Athens visit - Would highly recommend this wonderful tour. Gari was the perfect guide, very knowledgeable, sensitive and thoughtful. The visits were well thought out and very informative and included superb wine bar for a tasting which was high quality wines. The food throughout was excellent in lovely venues. The next day, I met up with some Greek friends who were over from Australia and was pleased to be able to recommend restaurants. We ate at the wine bar and one of the restaurants Gari introduced me to and also visited the olive oil shop several times where Maria was very happy to welcome us and help with recommendations. All in all an excellent tour and I would suggest doing it at the beginning of a visit to Athens as it will help inform you of how to plan your holiday. Thank you Gari.

Great introduction to Plaka food scene. - This was a fun introduction to the Athens food scene. Lots to eat and drink and a very informative, energetic guide. We really enjoyed stopping at neighborhood eateries as well as small shops and wine bars to sample local specialities. Great thing to do on your first night in town.

Fun Food and Ffiends!!! - Our group of six plus our new Australian friend had an awesome evening. Niki took us to some great restaurants(2) a great wine tasting, an olive oil tasting and then capped it all off with a nice gelato. Great food great drinks and great company with our best new Grecian friend Niki! Would do it all again. Great time.

Best way to start your vacation in Athens! - Fantastic night! Nicki is a great host! Very warm and knowledgeable about all things Greek! Highly recommend this tour. Especially if it’s your first time in Athens. Do it at the start of your stay!

Excellent Food Tour - Gari was the best guide on our food tour! This was a great experience to start off our trip. We learned so much about Athens and the Greek culture including the intricacies of wine, olive oil, and other Greek delicacies. She was open to any questions and greatly enhanced our trip as she knew the ins and outs of Athens and all of Greece. Would highly recommend as she will enrich your trip to Greece with her vast knowledge base.

Saturday in Athens - What a lovely day, spent food tour, strolling around athens, understand history, food, wine tasting, olive oil tasting. Thanks to Niki that introduce us to all of these! We had a pleasure time in Athens because of her.

Awesome food tour - Marina was an excellent host/guide on our food tour. Two of the scheduled guests had a late flight arrival so it ended up being just myself and 2 friends. The foods we tasted were excellent including the final tavern we went to that served 2 appetizers, a Greek salad and a wonderful lamb and orzo dish that the 3 of us split. We had a very educational olive oil tasting hosted by Spiros (very knowledgeable and friendly) at a gourmet food shop and a wine tasting of 4 wines at a wine bar in the charming neighborhood of Plaka. Marina shared her knowledge of food, wine and history throughout. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Wear Expandable Pants :o) - Our Tour Guide Marian met us on time and was very warm and friendly. All the restaurants, bars and olive oil tasting were in very easy walking distance. Food was plentiful so make sure you wear some expandable trousers LOL... Marian was very knowledgable about the food and wine and gave us a history lesson thrown in for free. All in all it was a lovely late afternoon/evening and its always great to eat where the locals do. I think my personal favour was the Gyros cafe. If I have one criticism, if you can call it that, there was too much food :o) We didn't make it to the Gelato parlour and some of our evening meal had to be boxed up and taken away so make sure you don't over indulge during the day prior to this tour, more wine please ha ha ha

Perfect First Night after Long Travel Day - This was a wonderful way to spend our first evening in Athens. Melpo, our guide for the evening, was perfect in every way. She guided us to a souvlaki place that was quite delicious, an olive oil tasting and wine tasting that were both delicious and educational, a great dinner of traditional Greek food, and some yummy Gelato to end the experience. Melpo was knowledgeable and fun - thank you!

Wonderful first night in Athens - Great food, great vendors, and a great tour guide. There was plenty to eat, the wine tasting was wonderful, and so was the company.
