• Meteora - Explore the Hermit Caves, locally known as the caves of Badovas, situated near Kastraki village, between the village and the town of Kalabaka. Badovas is the name of the nearby restored yet abandoned Monastery dedicated to Saint Nicolas of Badovas.

These caves, where Hermit monks led extraordinary lives in the 14th century, are located between Kalabaka town and Kastraki Village. The area is surrounded by impressive rock pillars called Pyxari and Amparia, along with a few smaller rocks.
