I recommend the 2 days tour with modifications for people who have difficulty with climbing stairs. - Very good organizing, very nice and professional team. We enjoyed specifically the first day of the tour, since we couldn’t climb the stairs on the second day.

Fantastic! - I had a great experience with this tour and organization. They are incredibly professional, friendly and work in a very neat way. Everything was well organized, they were on time and gave clear information. The tour itself was fantastic; I saw so many beautiful places. Moreover, the overnight stay in a 4-star hotel with breakfast was really a plus. For the price you pay, this is absolutely worth it. I can definitely recommend this tour!

Amazing Trip to Meteora - We had an incredible experience with MeteoraTrip Tours on our Athens to Meteora trip on the 24th & 25th of February 2025. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, making for a seamless and truly memorable journey. A special mention goes to our driver George, who navigated the roads with absolute professionalism, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride. The coach was very comfortable, making the long journey enjoyable and relaxing. And we cannot praise Katerina enough—her deep knowledge, engaging storytelling, and wonderful sense of humor made the tour even more special. She kept us informed throughout with fascinating insights, and her outstanding English made everything so easy to follow. Our overnight stay in Kalabaka was equally enjoyable, with a lovely night at Hotel Kostas, which provided great comfort after a day of exploring. The views were absolutely stunning, and the entire experience felt immersive and enriching. If you’re planning a trip to Meteora, we highly recommend MeteoraTrip Tours—their expertise and passion for this unique place truly shine through. Thank you, George and Katerina, for making our visit unforgettable! From Toula, Michael, Frank, and Lynn

Close to Angels - Feeling that you were touching the sky! An experience that you would want to repeat. Should consider an overnight as opposed to the one day tour.

Amazing experience - Amazing experience. The organization was great since the tickets send by email to the itinerary explanation. Tours and guides were great on the explanations given. The hotel was fine. A little old for a 4 stars but the room had great views of the mountains. I stayed at kalambak but i believe saying at kastraki would have been even better as it is smaller and more beautiful. I truly recommend this trip.

A great experience and adventure. - Right from the pick up in Athens the trip was well organized. On arrival in Meteroa we were taken to our Hotel given an itinerary which explained pick up times. Our guide Katarina was very knowledgeable on the area and explained everything well. The next day we chose the hike and Katarina was our guide again. We were taken to places and ruins that you don't see on the bus. Thank you for a great 2 days. Will recommend to any friends coming this way.

Great destination; terrible logistics - While the local guides were lovely, and Meteora is amazing, there were many logistical problems with this trip which many people on the trip were complaining about. We knew the trip departed at 8am, which was hard with jet lag… but when we arrived in Meteora at 12:00 we were then forced to wait in the hotel lobby with our luggage (or else leave it unattended) until 14:00. This was extremely painful, sitting in uncomfortable chairs when we just wanted to nap or otherwise have something to do. Next, the two tours were not coordinated… so there was significant overlap between the two days. Third, when the tours finished on the second day, there was another 5 hours waiting in the town (after check-out, again with our luggage in the hotel lobby) before the bus left. So we didn’t get back to Athens until nearly 23:00, and all the restaurants were closed. Fourth, the bus trips themselves involved many unnecessary stops. In a mere 4 hours of driving, there was 2 stops totaling 1 hour of waiting. Finally… we got food poisoning from the rest stops on the return trip, which we only chose to eat at because the return schedule left us unable to make a dinner reservation in Athens (from the TripAdvisor itinerary it seemed we’d be back at a reasonable hour, which was not the case).
