Excellent toy to amazing Meteora - Excellent two day tour to Meteora. First day saw two monasteries and sunset over the rocks. Second day visited three more monasteries. Guides were great, especially Vasso, and bus drivers all drove carefully. Plenty of photo stops, good historical information, enough time at monasteries to enjoy. This sites are unique and gorgeous. Definitely worth doing if you have time. We would have preferred to leave earlier on the second day, but we guess they have to accommodate lots of groups and leaving at 6pm is the best they can do. A suggestion to the tour company … if possible, offer an earlier time to return to Athens. Here’s a tip on returning to Larissa train station in Athens late at night. The taxi drivers were all taking advantage of the tourists, making up ridiculous prices (20 euros) to bring people back into center city. We were so offended, we just hopped on the metro/subway (the entrance is right there) and easily got back to our hotel within 25 minutes. It’s easy, safe and quick.

Worth investing 2 days in Meteora - You definitely need 2 full days to appreciate all Meteora has to offer. The long day trip would be overwhelming and sells the area short. The 2 day trip gave both structured and free time as well as allowing for a combination of activities to best experience the area. We would very strongly recommend the hike back from Grand Meteora/Varlaam to the bottom of the hill as a chance to see unique views/perspectives on the rocks and monasteries as well as getting into one of the cave dwellings and getting close to one of the few cave monasteries that still exist. The walk is easy - downhill all the way- you just need covered shoes with a reasonably grippy sole (walking shoes or boots, or joggers would be best as the trail is gravelly)

Excellent 2-day tour with 2 excursions - The 2-day excursion and 2 guided tours is an excellent choice to visit Meteora, a place with incredible scenery. The booking process and purchase very well, we receive the confirmation email with the necessary information. We chose the no hotel option to select it at our convenience, we really liked that it could be done like this. Transportation to the hotel in Meteora very comfortable. And the best, the guides in Meteora, Nancy and Apostoulos, for their complete and detailed explanations and the passion they put into their work. I would recommend it.

2 beautiful days at the Meteors - I highly recommend this excursion. The 2 days is worth the cost to fully visit the Meteors. Stress-free formula that allows you to make beautiful visits as well as to be able to watch the sunset in this beautiful environment. Everything is very well grounded. The departure in front of Larissa station is easily accessible by metro. A huge thank you to the guides. They offer a very good Service.

A very complete excursion! 😊 - This trip lived up to our expectations! My partner and I found this trip very well organized. The guides (Giannis and Vasiliki) are passionate and take the time to answer questions. The sunset over the Meteors is magical, it is definitely worth it. Only small downside: the hotel, although sufficient and welcoming, did not correspond, in our opinion, to a comfort of three stars!

Meteora is a special place - The whole tour was well organised with good communication on accommodation, pick up times etc. The only issue was the amount of free time on the second day but you could fill in that time easily if you were adventurous.

The start of the tour... - The start of the tour didn't go well. We (a huge number of people) all arrived at the location as directed. The bus driver wasn't helpful and didn't provide any info. Later two more buses showed up across the very busy road and every one is rushing to get to them. The drivers showed us our names on a very small piece of paper and every one is searching their names at the same time. It was very disorganized. It got better when we get there. The tour I signed up for has 7 people, much more manageable. The tour ended at 1:00 pm the next day, but we had to wait until 6:00 pm to accommodate the one-day tourists. Nothing to complain about, it's not a private tour after all.

Sites are great but tour needs some improvement - The schedule / transfer system needs to be improved. On the 2 day tour, you need to vacate the hotel room on the second day but then you have 1-6pm free time in the town which is awful if temperatures are very hot (we paid €40 to keep our room to avoid 39 deg heat). Then when the 2-day tour recombines with the 1-day tour bus, there were several arguments over bus seats. The tour guides needs to make it clearer which seats are free. Also (as a fairly petite woman) had to heave our suitcases into the bus in 39 feg heat while the driver just watched. I asked for help but he refused.

Meteora beautiful! Tour .. beyond disorganized - Meteora as a location, is spectacular. A must! Just jaw dropping and beautiful. But organized tour was rough! The 2 day trip.-A Big waste of time. You drive 4 hrs up 1st day. To then sit in your hotel for 3 hrs and wait for the next bus to arrive for the sunset tour which is 2 hrs long. Beautiful views. The next day you see the same Monasteries but can go inside which was nice. This was over at 1pm. We then had to wait at our hotel or walk the very, very, small town till 6pm for the bus to pick us up and head back to Athens!!! . Therefore, 5 hours of nothing! You can eat and see the whole town in 2 hours max. You board your bus at 6pm for another 4 1/2 hour drive and arrive at Athens around 11pm. So unnecessary. Why so much down time was beyond us and not needed. Made it for a very long two days. Also, bus situation…. A disorganized mess!! Do a private tour!!

Scam experience - The second day was basically a repeat of the information we got on the first day since they put us together with the 1 day tour. And after we get dropped off around lunch we're left for over 4 hours with nothing to do until our return bus. There were 2 stops in what were obviously partner shops to get us to spend money there, which is really disrespectful since we spent all that money to see Meteora. And not only do we get a subpar tour, we're pushed into money grabbing schemes. The bus ride home was awful! It was really hot and the driver didn't turn the AC on. People were using what they could as fans. Save yourself some money and go to Meteora by train and get a taxi to take you to the monasteries. I sure wish I did.
