Hellenic Parliament - Officially called the Hellenic Parliament or Vouli ton Ellinon, the Greek parliament building overlooks Syntagma Square and serves as a reminder of the origins of the modern Greek state. Changing of the Greek Guards
The Greek guards, known as “Evzones,” are members of the Presidential Guard stationed outside the Hellenic Parliament. They have become emblematic of Athens and were initially established in 1868 as a regiment of the Greek army. Being selected to join the Evzones is a great honor for a soldier.
They guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, symbolizing the collective memory of all unknown soldiers who died in war. The changing of the Greek guards takes place daily at the top of the hour. - Panathenaic Stadium - The Panathenaic Stadium, also known as Kallimarmaro, is a versatile stadium in Athens, Greece.
