- Mount Lycabettus - Also known as Lycabettos, Mount Lycabettus is a Cretaceous limestone hill in Athens, Greece. At 277 meters (908 feet) above sea level, its summit is the highest point in Central Athens, with pine trees covering its base. The name also refers to the residential neighborhood immediately east of the hill.
The hill is a popular tourist destination, accessible via the Lycabettus Funicular, a railway that ascends from a lower terminus at Kolonaki (located at Aristippou street).
