Fabulous Tour, must be done. - Our tour guide was very nice, wonderful experience. It is a long day tour but worth it. I would not recommend to buy lunch from them, as there ate plunty of Resturants to choose from its it doesn't justify the cist of lunch, they are charging.

Poseidon Temple at Cape Sunion - Spectacular site, a must see attraction in Cape Sunion. The tour is cheap (The ticket to the temple site is not included), but he bus trip great. From Athens to Cape Sunion is about a couple hours trip but there is enough time in the Poseidon temple.

Overall, thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely recommend this trip. - It was an amazing trip. The trip provider Grayline was well organised. Our guide Irene was excellent. She was explaining the history, other stories very well. It gave us a real feel and connected us well with the trip which we were looking for. The driver was fabulous and very safe driving. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely recommend this trip.

This was perfect for what... - This was perfect for what we wanted, which basically was a trip out to Poseidon’s temple without the hassle of renting a car. As other reviewers noted, it did not stop at the lake. We also didn’t get an audio tour - there was some commentary on the way out about what we were seeing an a little bit of context on the way back but that was it. For us - it was great. The bus was comfortable and clean, we had plenty of time to eat dinner at the restaurant and then walk around and make it to the temple in time for last admission/sunset. But the description is definitely inaccurate. That being said our tour guide, George, was awesome and we got exactly what we wanted so we’re very happy. And most importantly - the temple and views are incredible and not to be missed.

Climate changes everything - Unfortunately it was a very cloudy day and you could not see the sunset, but very impressive the Temple. The guide girl guided us well, not extraordinarily.

So so - Pick up took long, we did not get to see the lake Vougliameni. No stop there. Cape Sounion and the temple were beautifull.

Don't waste your time - This was one of the worst tours I've ever been on. It's not right to even call it a tour; the 'guide' barely spoke a word, and the few things she did say were incorrect! It is a long and boring trip for little pay-off -- you arrive at about 5:30pm and are dumped there until after 8pm. The 'guide' does not even get off the bus and come to the temple and provides no information once there. This is a temple that takes, being generous, 15 minutes to look around and appreciate from every angle, and take some nice photos - all by yourself, of course. All that's there otherwise is a sub-par bar/café where you basically have to sit until you want to go up to the temple, because the tickets are single-entry only and the bar is just outside the entrance (!). Last entrance to the temple is at 7:30pm; we were told the sunset was due to be at 8:00pm and this is when the temple is at its most impressive, so most people held off until just before 7:30pm. The staff, however, blew whistles and kicked us out a few minutes before 8:00pm. It was crushing to have sat for hours in the cold, blustery wind (apparently it is *always* cold and windy up there, which nobody told us in advance) only to walk back down the hill and see, seconds later, all the lights come on once they've closed the gates. No guide to say or do anything about that. This was a waste of valuable time.

Unprofessional tour guides yapping and laughing the whole way. - The views at the cape and the temple were awesome! What ruined our tour, were our two guides. Effie and Alice. Two young women that did not stop yapping and laughing (extremely loud) the whole bus ride there and back. It was as if we had two young teenagers as guides. Extremely annoying. I’ve been on many tours…..this was by far the worst tour guides I’ve had. Their level of English for tour guides was also something left to be desired. Sorry girls…..you were not professional. Perhaps this criticism will help you along your way.
