Wonderful experience! - We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The kitchen at Soy Bird was adorable, We were offered coffee and infused waters, as well as wine and beer to drink, including non-alcohol options. Our instructor, Dimitria, was absolutely amazing! She was very knowledgeable, kind, friendly. She walked us through the steps of how to make incredible Greek food. It was all truly delicious, even better than what we had gotten in the restaurants! Would highly recommend this experience to anyone, not just those who are plant based.

Most enjoyable course. Highly rec. - I am not vegan nor intend to be as it’s labour intensive. But I came away very happy with a good FAVA recipe & a decent filling for SPANAKOPITA….recommended.

Friendly! - We had a great time, learned traditional recipes in a friendly Mood, ate the delicious meal we all prepared... We are new to cooking and we were a bit confused at the start by the autonomy proposed but in the end our tsatziki was successful! The team was very attentive, thank you for this evening!

Amazing cooking class! - SO much fun! Our group got to make so many amazing dishes and it was wonderful to meet and connect with so many new people! Great for both new and experienced chefs, and for vegans and non-vegans! I'm vegetarian and loved all the food, and my partner who eats meat thought all the dishes were amazing, too. Great for date nights, group activities, and a solo activity! I'd definitely take this class and more of their other classes again!

Yummy Greek dishes you'd wouldn't know it's vegan! - So much fun with much learnt. laughter and a good flow of wine. Lovely crowd of 7, great ambience. Alexandra is a superb chef and we cooked a feast of 9 dishes together, from scratch. Being in the food industry, my curiosity was to experience using various ingredients for cooking a great tasting Vegan meal. Loved the almond feta, ekmek, moussaka with cashew bechamel and spanakopia. We finished the session with a yummy feast and more wine. Highly recommended!

Fantastic vegan cooking experience! - An absolutely great cooking experience! We were so excited to discover a vegan cooking school, and it did not disappoint. Alexandra, our chef/instructor, was a wonderful guide through the recipes and techniques. There were only 6 of us in total, so we were able to get a lot of hands-on experience. We made plant-based options of traditional Greek dishes, which de-mystified some of the foods I'd never think to make on my own. After all the cooking we had a wonderful meal. I know, paying to cook your own dinner when you're on vacation sounds silly, but it was so worth it. Afterwards, we received a link to the recipes, so I am looking forward to recreating them at home. Did I mention there was wine and beer too? A great night!

Great night - Great night, lovely staff, great company. Can't believe how many dishes we did & we got to eat them. They also gave us the recipes to try at home. Such good value for money.

Nice class- but questionable recipes - I had a very fun time at this cooking class- the space is lovely- clean and well equipped. The instructors were nice, there was a great playlist to accompany our cooking, and the other participants were pleasant company. I have to say, however, that the food we cooked was pretty bad. It's a mystery why a vegan Greek cooking class would focus on recipes that are dairy forward (including a dessert with two separate dairy layers and moussaka), instead of recipes that are naturally vegan, like dolmas. I would have loved to make dolmas from scratch! Instead of learning how to make phyllo dough, which would have been useful, we made spanakopita with one layer of olive-oil based dough and cashew cheese. Nothing we made was delicious. That said, all three of the people in my party had a really good time.
