OUR CRUISES ARE ON THE BARRON RIVER IN KURANDA ONLY. YOU CANNOT DRIVE DOWN TO THE RIVER TO ACCESS OUR CRUISES. Park your car and walk cross the Kuranda Railway Station footbridge and go down the stairs to the river where you will see our red flags flying at our jetty.

Very enjoyable experience - A short trip but what a worthwhile experience if you want to just relax on the riverboat for an easy afternoon ride. You'll see sea turtles, fish and hopefully a croc too! The tour guide Andrew was really good and experienced. Very knowledgeable. We had a great time and made it back in time for the train.

Tranquil river trip - The whole trip was tranquil. Warren took time out to point out wildlife, rainforest features, a bit of history etc Warren drove the boat backwards and forwards across the river pointing out crocs, birds, turtle, fish etc. We also had a good view of the sky rail. The boat was reached via the Kuranda railway station steps. There was parking on the road above. The turtles appeared to know the boat near the beginning of the trip giving us good photo opportunities. We saw a couple of crocs, they look like sticks/ twigs/ branches until you zoom in.

Great experience - The Kuranda Riverboat Tour was an absolute highlight of our visit to Kuranda! The 45-minute trip along the river was peaceful, scenic, and full of wildlife. Our captain, Andrew, was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the local area and animals, and his friendly personality made the experience even better. We were lucky enough to spot a crocodile, turtles, a sea eagle, and plenty of other wildlife along the way. It was definitely worth the money, and the convenience of paying cash on arrival or pre-booking online made it super easy. Highly recommend!

Andrew makes it worthwhile - Andrew made the whole experience worthwhile telling us about the history of the area, the flora and fauna and taking us along the banks to spot wildlife. This is a wild jungle and not a theme park so animals don’t appear on command. A wonderful end to our trip in Kuranda before we descended on Skyrail. So glad we decided to take the time out to take the cruise.

Relaxing boat ride on Barron River - Very knowledgeable guide, enjoyable and relaxing scenic boat ride on Barron River at a very reasonable price. Quite a lot of stairs to manoeuvre if coming from Kuranda shopping area.

An excellent thing to do in Kuranda. - This boat ride was excellent. We were a group of 10. Our Captain was Andrew and he educated us about the history of the area . We learned about the flora and fauna. We saw a variety of turtles, fish and birds. The tour lasted 45 mins and time flew by. A recommended activity in Kuranda. You can find the wharf the other side of the Railway Station.

Highly recommended - Such an informative tour. It was the most enjoyable tour we have done of this type. We were fortunate enough to also spot a little fresh water crocodile on our trip. Highly recommended.

Picture yourself on a boat on a river - Thoroughly enjoyable. We booked online with our phones at the riverbank and hopped abord. Gary was a witty and informative guide and while we didn't see crocodiles - too hot - we saw turtles and archerfish and learned about the history of the rainforest. Highly recommended

Short riverboat cruise - Whilst we didn't see much of the wildlife, we did see the oldest rainforest on the planet. Andrew, our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Thank you Andrew.
