Well worth it! - Had a great time. Good to get away from the crowds and experience some Australian wildlife without lots of tourists. Food was good. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgable. Good communication beforehand.

A very memorable first solo tour!! - The tour was lovely, the weather wasn't too bad, the food was amazing! Gavin, my driver and tour guide, was very helpful and friendly. He's very familiar with everything, the tour, the area, and also the stars. 10/10 first solo tour experience!!!

Dryandra Wildlife Experience - We had an awesome Valentine's day trip and thoroughly enjoyed getting up close with the night wildlife. Our tour guide, Skip, was excellent, plenty of knowledge that he is happy to share. The food was delicious, the car was comfy and the wildlife came out to say hello. We saw Kangaroos, all 47 of them, Bush Tailed Wallabys an Echidna, Bilbys, Quendas, Woylies, Malas, boodies and even a Possum was hanging around outside the fence line. The Forrest itself looks amazing, I think I will go back in Wildflower season. Thanks for a great day/night Skip.

Amazing wildlife ecperience! - Skip was an excellent guide, full of knowledge and humor. This was a great tour to a wildlife centre, that was focused on the wellbeing of the animals and their natural behaviour, not a petting zoo for tourists. It’s also rounded off with some spectacular stargazing. If you get the chance - go!

Great wildlife, great drive! - Do yourself two favourite when in Perth - visit the wildlife at Dryandra and don’t drive yourself. Skip was a great guide with lots of information about the bilbies, kangaroos, and other wildlife we saw. He later surprised us with his extensive knowledge about the stars when we stopped in a dark zone on the way back. My one disappointment was that I took so many photos that my phone died!

Amazing tour for wildlife spotting! - Such an amazing experience! We drove to the woodlands and saw so many amazing animals. I was super excited to get a close up of an echidna! Our guide Gavin knew where to look to see different animals and was super knowledgeable about them too. We saw a goanna on the road, some cool birds, and many kangaroos as well. In the night, we got lucky and saw all the animals that barna mia had to offer including: woylie, bilby, mala, boodie, and quenda. All super cool animals, and all ones that I would have never known about had I not done this tour. This trip was totally worth it and I would do it again! The dinner was also really good which I didn’t expect.

Fantastic tour with Gavin - We had a wonderful time with Quokka Adventure Tours. Gavin was incredibly professional and organized. He picked us up right on time at Hostel G in a very clean and comfortable white Mercedes minibus. The communication was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a smooth and friendly experience in Perth

Recommeded - I joined the tour on my own, but felt very welcomed and engaged throughout the whole trip. Skip did a wonderful job helping us spot many animals, and the visit to Barna Mia sanctuary was fantastic. Thank you, Skip, for helping me catch an early flight after the tour.

Great wildlife tour, recommended for even first time visitors! - The experience is smooth, Gavin led the drive and tour, is quite knowledgeable about wildlife and spotting the animals. Length of visit was just nice. Was a small group of 6 of us. Saw a wild gowana, some joeys and numbat, also some possum, mala and woylie ! Admission fees were included and hotel pick up, drop off is a plus - given that it’s a full day tour, it’s great that all these were taken care of.

Disappointing - Unfortunately, this has been a disappointing experience for me. The tour has taken place mainly on the bus, where we stayed for 3.5 h with only a brief toilet stop. We didn't have the tea/coffee break on the way as advertised, and when we finally got to the Woodland, we crossed it while staying on the bus, trying spotting some animals. This was unfortunate as walking in the bush would have been much better. The advertised bush walk lasted for 10 mins only, during which our guide didn't talk about anything regarding the place, nor he did during this long trip to the bush, actually - for the whole trip, he talked all the time with the passenger seated at the front with him, and shared no information whatsoever with the rest of the group about the areas we got through (which is usually what guides do, otherwise what's the point of going on a tour?). We finally got to the camping site to have dinner. Again, the guide said only: Okay, you have 45 mins to wander around while I set dinner up. I advice against wandering too far away as there's no phone reception at all in that area, so getting lost could be easy. Dinner was nice, consisting of nibbles, cold salads, and cooked meat. I asked for the vegetarian option I selected while booking (it's usually a veggie pattie), but I was just told that there was none, period. Hot drinks after the meal weren't served although the box was there. In general, I had the impression that our guide didn't seem keen to be with us on that day. We then headed to the animal sanctuary, which was the only great thing of this tour - the lady who guided us was so knowledgeable, and we spotted a lot of animals. We then went back to bus, and the star gazing consisted of literally 5 minutes on the side of the road, where the guide pointed out some stars with a torch. This tour advertises for much more than this, which I found misleading. It was a beautiful night, and stars were clearly visible - however, I had gone on another tour a few days before this one, and the actual stargazing consisted of spending +30 mins looking through telescope and binoculars, lying down on a blanket etc. We then headed back to Perth, and the guide just resumed his private conversation with the passenger next to him... I feel I wasted my money and time on this tour, which isn't ideal while traveling, and I hope that this isn't the usual standard of this tour as the rest of the reviews are quite positive.
