Viaduct Harbour - The tour includes a drive along the downtown waterfront, passing Viaduct Harbour, a top spot in Auckland for dining and nightlife. It features a great selection of restaurants and bars, numerous boats, and is home to the America’s Cup yachts and Whale & Dolphin watching boats.

Wynyard Quarter - The Wynyard Quarter has been revitalized into a charming waterfront dining area and houses the Auckland Fish Market. It’s a great place to revisit later for some Fish and Chips.

Westhaven Marina - Westhaven Marina is the largest marina in the Southern Hemisphere. We stop here for excellent photos of the Harbour, Harbour Bridge, and the Marina. Occasionally, Bungy Jumpers can be seen leaping off the Harbour Bridge. Bungy Jumping is not included in the tour, but assistance can be provided to organize it. There are also clean restrooms available here.

Little Shoal Bay Reserve - Shoal Bay in Northcote Point offers arguably the best views of Auckland City from across the Harbour, making it a great spot for photos.

Northcote - An optional coffee stop is available. The tour does not include a formal morning or afternoon tea/coffee break to maximize the Auckland experience. There are a few nice options for takeaway drinks and snacks, which can be brought back to the bus. Drink holders are installed for convenience.

Ponsonby - Ponsonby is a Victorian/Edwardian suburb with beautiful older buildings. It offers fantastic shopping with unique, mostly privately owned shops. The selection includes fashion boutiques, gift shops, homewares, antiques, cafes, and restaurants. It’s well worth revisiting after the tour.

Mount Eden - The summit of Mt Eden provides fantastic elevated views of Auckland City. It’s a 5-10 minute walk from the parking lot to the summit, but the walk is worthwhile. Restrooms are available here.

Auckland Museum - The tour drives through the Auckland Domain (Park) and past the Auckland Museum. Visiting the Museum requires at least 3-4 hours, so the tour does not stop, but the Museum is highly recommended. It features excellent exhibits on Maori and Polynesian culture, and the daily Maori cultural performance is very enjoyable.

Parnell Rose Gardens - The tour passes through the Victorian suburb of Parnell and by the Parnell Rose Gardens. If the flowers are in bloom, a photo stop can be made.

Faculty of Arts and Education, the University of Auckland - The tour travels along the tree-lined Symonds St, passing the University of Auckland, before heading into the downtown area.
