A fun thing to do in Auckland! - The Sky Tower was a real treat! The sun was shining and we had spectacular views of the entire city of Auckland and beyond. Such a relaxing vibe on the sky deck and not overly crowded so we could meander around and sit as well to admire the views over the bays, islands, volcanoes and the city. A peaceful end to the day. Helpful and friendly staff throughout the experience. Thank you!

Great views. - We really enjoyed our visit. We had a package with the accommodation so only went because we had tickets. We were really pleased we did as we had a lovely day and got good views. The cafe and ice cream place were fair prices but felt a little bit small if it had been busy but we went up just as the tour groups were leaving for lunch elsewhere. It was interesting how different going up an extra couple of floors made a difference.

Iconic and impressive in equal measure - Sky Tower is one of those buildings you see on tv whenever Auckland, and indeed New Zealand is highlighted. We took advantage of the Hop on Hop off bus stopping right outside and caught the lift to the three different floors of the tower from which you can see for miles across the city and the water. The main observation deck is on level 51 and is 186m in the air. With stunning panoramic views and the odd glass floor panel to get your pulse up it's an extraordinary place. Next, catch the lift to the top. At level 60 the Sky Deck gives incredible views from 220m above the city. Finally level 53 (194m) is the Lookout - with cafe, ice cream shop, toilets, and for those insane enough the Skyjump and Skywalk platforms where people can indulge their adrenaline sport fixes and walk or jump off the tower. It's an extraordinary building, iconic in so many ways. Visit on a fine day and the views are truly spectacular

Panoramic view! - Staff are nice! Love the view up there! But the pricing quite expensive for just around main observation & deck. All in all experience was good for trying once.

SkyTower is great but DON'T BOOK w TRIP ADVISOR!! - Sky towner is great. DO NOT BOOK VIA TRIP ADVISOR THOUGH - it cost a whole lot more than at the venue or other pre booking methods. I assumed it was NZD but it charged in USD so significantly more costly

Poor experience - Wasn’t the best trip as they had private function on the top floor so we couldn’t see the best views , no pre warning or email . They also shut the bar within 10 mins of arrival so couldn’t get a cold drink ….

Our group arrived, in the... - Our group arrived, in the queue, to have a drink in the sky tower at 17.05, we were told we had till 17.15 to get in. The plan was to have a drink at sunset. We were advised there was a private function on, so had to be out pretty quickly. There were no seats in the bar and as we had very little time, there was no point getting a drink. Make sure there are no private functions on, as in my opinion it’s not worth the price. Otherwise it would’ve been great.

Experience cut short for private function !!!!! - SHUT EARLY YET STILL TOOK FULL PAYMENT VERY DISAPPOINTED AS THERE WAS NO WARNING UNTIL AFTER I HAD PURCHASED MY TICKET THAT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS GOING TO CLOSE EARLY @ 17:30 pm for a Private Function. The bar was closing 15 minutes after I arrived at that level and then the next level was only open for 15 minutes so that was all the to had on the top level. I had gone up there specifically upon recommendation from other people and your description on Viator. I feel that I am entitled to a REFUND PLEASE.

Overcharged - Why do you charge me in us dollars,? I live in new Zealand. Sky city is in new Zealand??? It's never mentioned anywhere also that you are going to charge me in US dollars.
