• Auckland Central - Begin the tour in New Zealand’s largest city. As the journey departs from the city, the guide will not only set the stage for the day’s adventure but also highlight and guide you past some of the city’s top attractions.
• Waikato - Leaving Auckland, travel south through the breathtaking Waikato countryside, the largest farming region globally, offering beautiful landscapes, mighty rivers, excellent photo opportunities, impressive mountains, and various farm animals along the route.
• Coromandel Peninsula - The itinerary depends on tidal conditions. Tours that coincide with Hot Water Beach’s tide times will include a visit there. If booked on the Coastal Adventure tour, other key highlights of the Coromandel Peninsula will be visited instead!
• Hahei - It’s time for a lunch break to recharge! Stop in Hahei to purchase a delicious meal before continuing the adventure.
• Cathedral Cove Walk - Explore Cathedral Cove, one of New Zealand’s most iconic natural landmarks. The walk to Cathedral Cove takes between 30 to 45 minutes, but the reward is well worth it—offering stunning coastal views and the chance to explore this breathtaking beach. Access to Cathedral Cove is weather-dependent. For safety reasons, the track may be unsuitable after or during heavy rain. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made to ensure an incredible experience.
• Auckland - Unfortunately, after this day in paradise, it’s time to head north again. However, the day isn’t over with a fully guided return trip to Auckland, including secret stops along the way.

Cathedral Cove & Hot Water Beach Tour – This tour operates only when the tides permit, offering the opportunity to create your own spa at the renowned Hot Water Beach (remember to bring a towel and swimwear!).

Coastal Adventure Tour – Available on alternate days, this tour follows the same breathtaking coastal route and highlights, including Cathedral Cove, but does not include Hot Water Beach.

Tours are available daily, with schedules determined by tidal conditions. If your chosen tour is not available, consider the alternative option—both tours feature Mautohe Cathedral Cove, ranked among the world’s Top 50 Beaches!

• Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
• Children aged 7 years and below are required to travel in a child safety car seat. You can provide your own or one can be provided for $20 NZD (with 24 hours notice).
• Not recommended for travelers with severe mobility difficulties, a large amount of walking over uneven surfaces is involved.
• Guests must have a high level of fitness and be capable of completing the challenging 40-minute walk to and from Cathedral Cove.
