- Hobbiton Movie Set - Upon arrival at the first main attraction, ‘Hobbiton,’ board one of the large green Hobbiton buses for a two and a half hour fully guided tour of this incredible 12-acre movie set. A professional Hobbiton guide will ensure a memorable visit. During the tour, explore the lush Shire pastures, visit 44 hobbit holes, admire the beautiful gardens, learn secrets and stories about the movie-making process, and enjoy a complimentary cold beverage at the renowned Hobbiton pub, ‘The Green Dragon Inn.’
* Maintenance & restoration construction at Hobbiton is scheduled to start on 01 June 2025, with major works concluding in September 2025. During this time, construction and maintenance equipment and noise will be present. Tours will proceed as usual but will follow an alternate route around the construction area, offering a glimpse into the efforts to maintain the magical appearance of the Hobbiton Movie Set as seen in the films.
- Tirau - On the way to Rotorua, pass through Tirau, known as the ‘Corrugated Iron Capital of the World’ due to its numerous unique corrugated iron sculptures and buildings. This town always provides a sight and a laugh, with guides pointing out all the main highlights along the way.
- Te Puia - Rotorua, NZ - Upon reaching the second main destination, Te Puia, enjoy a fully guided tour to experience the geothermal and Maori cultural wonders, including: Pōhutu Geyser, Māori Architecture, The National Māori Arts School, geothermal craters, geothermal events, and even the opportunity to see a Kiwi bird in the Kiwi viewing house.
