Your tour begins on Waiheke Island. We do not do hotel pickups. If you are travelling from Auckland on the 9am ferry, your guide will be holding a sign and standing on your left as you leave the ferry at Waiheke Island.

Recomend - A beautiful tour with fantastic views in a suitable pace. The guide was very knowledgeable and could answer all questions. The wine tasting was also very nice and a great lunch

Excellent bush walk and wine-tasting experience with Terra and Tide / Cindy - Cindy is truly an exceptional guide, making our experience with Terra and Tide absolutely memorable. Her deep expertise was evident immediately during our bush walk, where she explained the history and qualities of local plants with great patience and clarity. She was incredibly attuned to our comfort, adjusting the pace of the walk and thoughtfully choosing suitable paths for us, ensuring we felt unrushed and completely at ease throughout the day. Beyond her immediate guiding skills, Cindy demonstrated remarkable commitment to personalized service. We were particularly impressed when we mentioned our vegetarian diet mid-trip; she quickly and seamlessly sourced suitable meals at the vineyards, showing extraordinary adaptability and care. Furthermore, the journey was enhanced by her engaging historical narratives, covering everything from the formation of New Zealand to the native occupation of Waiheke Island. Cindy's combination of local knowledge, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile truly elevated this tour. Great day trip from Auckland! - This was our first full day in New Zealand. We had just arrived the evening before after a long trip from the eastern US, so we were very tired and jet lagged. We can't recommend this day trip from Auckland enough as a way to get started. Robyn was a wonderful guide. The views were fabulous and the wine tastings a lot of fun. Highly recommended and worth the price!

Fun and informative - Justine planned and conducted a wonderful outing for four of us (two couples) on Waiheke Island, visiting two vineyards (and eating lunch at a third). This was all planned at the last minute after international flight disruption. So, Justine had to shift our reservations. Everyone was very accommodating. The four of us are curious travelers and ask many questions of those pouring the wines, but Justine kept us more or less on schedule. She was also very patient and generous in answering our many questions about the history of New Zealand, the cultural climate, the flora and fauna.
She’s very personable, fun to spend time with. It would have been great to sit down with her at the end of the day and have a pint of ale instead of a sip of wine.

Vineyards and Bush Walk - Our hike and wine tasting experience was exceptional. It was the perfect tour for a first day in country! The scenery was simply stunning/beautiful and our guide, Barbara, was the best. Very knowledgeable and so much fun to spend the day with. We highly recommend Terra and Tides Vineyards and Bush Walk......ask for Barbara, she's the best!!!

Justine is the best! - Justine is a first rate guide. Funny, informed and very friendly. The local wineries were great, and the olive oil tasting was awesome. Couldn’t have asked for a better time!
