Your tour begins on Waiheke Island. We do not do hotel pickups. If you are travelling from Auckland on the 9am ferry, your guide will be holding a sign and standing on your left as you leave the ferry at Waiheke Island.

Lovely half day tour! - Great day spent with our tour guide, Lisa. We took a lovely hike through the area while she pointed out native plants and birds, along with the uses of the plants. We then toured two vineyards and enjoyed wine tasting before going to a scenic lookout spot for a picnic lunch. Definitely a great thing to do for a half day on the island.

Bush walk and wine- great combo! - Renee was a terrific guide - very knowledgeable and cheerful. Highly recomnend this excursion for the views and a taste of what Waiheke offers

Personalised to perfection - Fantastic experience. Our guide, Cindy, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much information about the island, its history, flora and fauna and its culture and traditions. Cindy was very happy to adapt our tour to suit us and the weather conditions.

Justine accommodated our special needs and was helpful in every way - It was a well guided and fun one day tour of the Island…there were two couples and a private guide, Justine, who was amazing…we really enjoyed her and learned a lot about the island and New Zealand

Great walk and wine! - We had a great day on the island! After the ferry ride over, we were met by our guide, Renee, who was fantastic. She led us on a very scenic walk along the coast followed by a wine tasting and picnic lunch.
As a native New Zealander, Renee was able to provide us with good background on the Auckland area, as well!

Beautiful walk with a picnic on the way to wine tasting - Dell provided a well organized, informative,guided experience on the Bush walk and wine tastings. Along with a picnic lunch on a shady table on the way to the wine tastings.
It is a fairly easy hike with spectacular view of the bay. Dell shared a lot of information about the environment, flora and fauna.

Recomend - A beautiful tour with fantastic views in a suitable pace. The guide was very knowledgeable and could answer all questions. The wine tasting was also very nice and a great lunch

Excellent bush walk and wine-tasting experience with Terra and Tide / Cindy - Cindy is truly an exceptional guide, making our experience with Terra and Tide absolutely memorable. Her deep expertise was evident immediately during our bush walk, where she explained the history and qualities of local plants with great patience and clarity. She was incredibly attuned to our comfort, adjusting the pace of the walk and thoughtfully choosing suitable paths for us, ensuring we felt unrushed and completely at ease throughout the day. Beyond her immediate guiding skills, Cindy demonstrated remarkable commitment to personalized service. We were particularly impressed when we mentioned our vegetarian diet mid-trip; she quickly and seamlessly sourced suitable meals at the vineyards, showing extraordinary adaptability and care.
