You will visit three of Waiheke’s top vineyards and sample a range of their wines. Along the way, enjoy a scenic drive with live commentary to learn about the island’s history, geography, people and culture. If you prefer you can swap a wine tasting for a whisky, beer gin or olive oil tasting.
After your tasting experiences, sit back, relax and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to the ferry or your accommodation. Lunch is included.

- Ferry tickets can be purchases at the Fullers Ferry Terminal at 99 Quay St

Great wine tour. A must do - Greg took us in this tour of Waiheke Island and 3 wineries. A really wonderful day. Great guiding lovely wineries and terrific wine. We had such a good time. Definitely worth doing

Terrific Wine Tasting with lunch. - We had a wonderful day despite a very wet and windy day. Nick our local guide was a catamaran sailor, and recent graduate of the Master of Wine Science at the University. He was charming and filled with local knowledge as we visited three vineyards for wine tasting. We also had a delicious lunch with local fresh fish and delicious wine.He also helped me score some first press olive oil which was delivered so timely to our ferry.

Warm congenial tour operator - Lovely tour! Jenny, the owner, went out of her way to personalize our tour. Due to some unfortunate circumstances we were late for our tour. Jenny made sure that we enjoyed as full a tour as possible. She was delightful and cannot recommend this tour company enough

Excellent day trip - Our trip was amazing. Debbie was knowledgeable about the island, the history of winemaking and living on the island. Her relationships with each winery optimized our experience with efficiency with the tastings. The uniqueness of each winery added to the overall experience. Highly recommend!

Fun afternoon - Michael, our driver from Ananda Tours, was fun, entertaining and informative. He picked us up at the ferry and drove us to tastings at four wineries. We especially Liked Mudbric.

No whining about this wonderful private wine tour. Too good to be true. - Debbie Harris made sure our tour was wonderful in every way possible. She was highly informative, friendly, and well versed in the local lore of the boutique wineries we visited. She also was knowledgeable about the wines and their various qualities, histories, and the makers. Overall, a thoroughly relaxing day, made even better by her excellent driving on some very picturesque but windy, narrow country lanes. Her beautiful personality was filled with an open heart and grateful nature making us feel blessed and comfortable with her and our spiritual connection.

Bountiful, delicious and educational - It was our honeymoon and we had the best of guides to help navigate all the wines. The wine was delicious and we were able to catch our flight in the evening. Unfortunately we forgot our guides name can you please let us know who it was. Parisian, very knowledgeable and a great guide!

Wine Island, yes please! - Deb Harris is a lovely guide. We visited a number of beautiful wineries and a wonderful lunch at Tantulus vineyard. Deb was engaging and approachable for questions, etc. We loved the Velvet wine at Mudbrick Vineyards the best.

Flexibility on a private tour - A great day with our private tour guide Janis. A comfortable drive throughout the Island with commentary about the history, culture, nature and, of course, wine. Private tastings at top wineries but the real benefit was Janis’ flexibility in adjusting our tour on the fly according to our tastes and preferences. An unscheduled visit to a private art gallery was the highlight.
