Ellora is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the most visited ancient monument in Maharashtra, requiring approximately 3 to 4 hours to tour.
- Daulatabad Fort - Once the capital of India in the 13th century, Daulatabad Fort is known for its adventurous dark passage and the Chand Minar, which are highlights of the site. The decision to make it the capital was later deemed unwise by the Tughluq, earning him the nickname “mad king.”
- Bibi Ka Maqbara - After enjoying lunch en route (at guests’ own expense), the tour continues to one of the most iconic monuments of the Mughal capital from the 17th century. This monument was constructed as a symbol of love.

Ellora caves and Daulatabad fort - I had a great day trip. My driver Salman was a great professional. He picked me on time and drop me off to the airport on time. The guide for Ellora was Mr. Ali. He was an old gentleman and extremely knowledgeable. He explained every details and never was in any rush. I highly recommend Alvin tourism

Friendly organizer,well managed trips,best experience in India - I have been to India 4 times and I found Akvin Tourism as my best travel buddy. They have always organised my stay, food, transportation to offbeat destinations. I couldn’t have seen real India without Akvin.
Recently, I was in Aurangabad for March 2024. I had a pleasant time visiting the places around.
Akvin tourism organized my stay and taxi. Driver was friendly, English speaking.
Now, I’m planning to come back again in September and definitely, Akvin Tourism would be the only choice to travel in India.

Interesting places, good service - Thanks to Akvin tourism we spent splendid and interesting day in Ellora Caves with enthusiastic local guide and careful driver. We visited Amrut Tirth or Ahilyabai Holkar Talav (Hindu temple nearby) as well, humble Aurangzeb's tomb in Khuldabad and a large Daulatabad Fort. 100% recommendation!

Akvin tourism an agency to travel othermen. - We spent 3 days with Akvin tourism. Vincent our French guide is passionate about the region. The information given on the caves of Ellora is complete. Without him, most of the caves would have eluded us. The visit of the 3 capitals gave us an overview of the history of Aurangabad. The last day, in the village of Charthana and its temples, shows us the difficulties of conservation and restoration of its temples where the inhabitants still gather. This day was also an immersion in a village where living conditions are so different from those of the West.
Akvin tourism was also a great help for travel, help to book the train, Welcoming at the station, travel tips, etc.

Aurangabad a detour worthwhile - If you are going to Mumbai, do not hesitate to make a short getaway to Aurangabad with Akvin tourism.
Vincent, French guide, passionate about religious history, will make you discover the caves of Ellora, Ajanta and the whole greater region of Aurangabad like no other (sense of humor included). This small eco-responsible agency is also working on the rehabilitation of the religious heritage of Chartana village located three hours drive from Aurangabad. This visit shocked me with the authenticity of the villagers' view of us. We visited many temples, had tea in the teacher's house and ate at a villager's house.
And let’s not forget Akash, the other link in the agency who speaks impeccable English and whose family rents a small apartment where we had the pleasure of having dinner with everyone.
I've learned a lot about India.

Beware of tour guides taking you for a ride - the tour guide took us for a ride by showing only what he was willing to !! we had to do a non-guided tour the following day to visit what we missed out - which was more than 60% of the whole tour !! The agents of viator who provided the service was quick to respond and complained to the authorities.

Ellora Caves Experience - wow! - My guide was very knowledgeable and an expert on the caves. He made sure to highlight the most important features, history and locations. He helped make my visit to the caves memorable and meaningful. Without his expertise, I would have missed out on so much of the history.
At times he seemed a little rushed, and at the beginning of tour I had difficulty locating him. I think he was trying to coordinate with another group as I was solo traveler. Aside from this aspect, the tour and guide were fantastic. Thank you!

Beautiful. - Sites are beautiful. Driver drove safe. Guide is booked at elora caves. He had a lot of information about the history. Also the jainism cave are worth seeing. The rest of the sights you explore on your own. Please take note that you need a hat, sunblock and lots of water.
