Ajanta Caves

Akvin Tourism - Arrive in Aurangabad via an early morning flight or train. The operator will arrange a pick-up from your hotel between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM, depending on your breakfast schedule. The guide will meet you at the hotel reception, and then the journey to the magnificent Ajanta Caves will commence.

Ajanta Caves - The Ajanta Caves are located 110 km from Aurangabad, approximately a 3-hour drive. Due to ongoing road construction, the ride may be bumpy, so guests are advised to bring air pillows or similar items for back support if needed. The driver will drop you off at the Ajanta parking area. The guide will accompany guests to the caves via a shuttle bus, which is exclusively for the caves (a 5-minute ride).

Ajanta Caves - Upon arrival at the Ajanta Caves complex, guests can enjoy tea, coffee, or snacks at the MTDC restaurant at their own expense to refresh. The guide will then take you on a journey through the history of the Ajanta Caves, sharing fascinating stories and facts about Buddhism. The guide will be with you throughout the entire trip.

Ajanta Caves - After the tour, return to the ticket counter with the guide. You can enjoy vegetarian or non-vegetarian meals with drinks at your own expense, either at the site or at a recommended restaurant nearby. Take the shuttle bus back to the parking area to meet the driver.

Aurangabad - Begin the return journey to Aurangabad via the same road. The return trip may take longer due to traffic. Engage in cultural exchanges with the guide during the journey. Drop-off will be at your hotel.

Ellora Caves and Bibi Ka Maqbara

Akvin Tourism - On the following day, the journey begins with a hotel pick-up at 7:30 AM, heading to the Ellora Caves, approximately an hour away.

Ellora Caves - Upon arrival at the Ellora Caves, the guide will provide insights into the world’s largest monolithic temple and the surrounding caves. There are three distinct groups of 34 caves representing Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.

Daulatabad Fort - On the way back to Aurangabad, you will encounter the impressive Daulatabad Fort (originally Devgiri Fort). The guide will share the history of this defensive fort at a viewpoint stop. The journey will then continue towards Bibi Ka Maqbara.

Bibi Ka Maqbara - Visit Bibi Ka Maqbara, often referred to as the mini Taj Mahal. This is an exceptional example of Mughal artistry. The guide will explain the Mughal architecture and the historical conflicts surrounding this mausoleum. This visit will complete your day of sightseeing. Drop-off will be at your hotel.
