Amazing viewing! Knock one off our bucket list! A home run! - It got really cold (-30c)! The warming tent made it very comfortable (pizza was delicious).
Nathan helped with setting up my wife's iPhone to take amazing pics and video!
He gave me recommendations on setting my DSLR to capture the best images!
He gave a great lesson on the aurora and how and why it's created and more!

Experience of a lifetime - Get the professional photogopher who cares about making it about you! Don't want to feel like just another tourist with a sore neck staring straight up, take this experience and feel like your part of the family. Aurora sightings can be unpredictable and not guaranteed. If your lucky enough to catch them, don't trust your once in a lifetime experience photo, by taking a cell phone photo. Leave it to this professional Aurora Photographer, to make the night interesting, fun and end with high quality shots. Pizza and hot drinks were the cherry on top, for the night we went. The wind chill had to exceed -30, but we kept diving into the warming tent between shots. Amazing photos were achieved, only by his guided hand. My included photo was by phone but its a sneaky behind the scenes shot of the effort.

Great time even with a small aurora - We saw hints of the aurora before clouds stole the show, but we kept hoping. Nathan made sure we were toasty warm and deliciously well fed during our odyssey. Since lady aurora did not return, he took awesome steel wool photos of us. Very cool. Highly recommend

If you book any aurora tour at all, please let it be this one!! Nathan does this tour as a one man band and he did not disappoint!! Everything was amazing from start to finish. Not only does he offer pizza, warm cookies, and hot drinks, his character and bubbly personality allows for a very friendly and inclusive interaction. He offers candid and professional photos and goes to great lengths to capture the perfect picture. Nathan is so great and really makes the tour enjoyable while waiting for the lights. We did not see the lights on our original tour booked, so he let us join another tour at no additional cost! We highly recommend booking this tour while in Fairbanks!

This tour was great. The... - This tour was great. The tour guide was excellent. He knew where was a good spot. We also enjoyed hot pizza and hot beverages to keep us warm when we enjoyed the beautiful aurora.

Unique Alaskan Experience - This was such a unique and wonderful experience. We had the opportunity to go out on this adventure twice due to not seeing Aurora much on the first try. Both times were fun, informative, and felt like a one of a kind Alaskan experience!! The great photos make the experience stand out compared to other tours we went on. I would absolutely book this tour again on another visit!!

Wonderful experience!!! - Top notch experience all around. Nathan was efficient, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Tent was warm (even in -36 degree temps), and the pizza hit the spot. The whole experience would have been worth it even if we didn’t see the lights (but we did!). Book now, you won’t regret!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Highly recommended! - I originally booked for 2/17/26, but the weather forecast predicted a winter storm and I was so anxious that I wouldn’t be able to see the aurora on this trip. Nathan was incredibly kind and helpful from the start. He offered several thoughtful solutions — including taking us to Chena Hot Springs and the Ice Museum on 2/17, moving the aurora tour to 2/18 and/or 2/20, and even offering a full refund if we preferred.
We decided to go on the aurora tour on 2/18. Nathan carefully monitored the weather and suggested we leave earlier than planned. That turned out to be the best decision ever — the aurora started dancing right when we arrived at our viewing spot! It was absolutely magical.
Nathan is extremely knowledgeable (I learned so much about the aurora!), flexible, friendly, and truly accommodating. We captured amazing photos and had such a wonderful time. The whole experience was unforgettable.
If you’re thinking about booking — do it. You won’t regret it!
