Music Crawl and Small Group Tours - We took a mother-daughter whirl wind weekend trip to Austin and booked 2 Austin Detours Tours: Music Crawl and small group tour of Austin. Ike, Luke and Joel were fantastic! All were informative, personable and funny :) On our next trip we will be sure to book other Austin Detours Tours. You can't go wrong.

Great team outing and live music experience! - I booked this live music crawl for my team and I to have a good bonding experience after a few days of meetings. I worked with Kyla to book the tour. She was super responsive and great on communication. The tour was reasonable cost. Communication on day of tour was great. Received a text message from Dave our tour guide and driver on the day of our tour, confirmed pick up location and he was right on time. Dave took us to 3 iconic Austin music spots; Saxon Pub, Broken Spoke and C-boys. All of these spots were fantastic and gave different flavors of live music. My team and I had a great experience along with having some fun and good bonding experiences while seeing some great musical talent that Austin has to offer! Highly recommend this for a business event or personal. It wont disappoint.

Fun night in Austin! - Fun night out! Felt like we got to see some of the real Austin nightlife and great local bands! Doubt we would of found this all on our own. Was also nice to be driven from bar to bar and have a local guide hangout with us at each stop. Highly recommend! Loved our guide Luke and driver Joey, fun guys!

Loved it - We had such a fun time on the live music crawl! Came with 3 friends for a bachelorette trip and really enjoyed it. Saw 3 great bands at 3 different music venues around the city. Highly recommend if you want to see and hear some great music. Ike was a great tour guide!

Great tour! Great guides! Great music! Great venues! - Ike, our guide is one of the nicest people on this planet!, and Brent our driver made certain we arrived safely to the three destinations and back to our meeting place without incident. Ike provided insight into the Austin music scene by giving us the history of the venues that we saw the three music acts at along with providing background information about the artists themselves. Three unique places, with music genres that were pleasantly unexpected (Afro-Jazz) , and country music at the other venues…One singer songwriter act at a great honky-tonk and a hard hitting country rock band the our last venue. Ike escorted us in and out of all the venues, paid our cover charges, provided us useful information about where to stand, sit, get food, get air and where the bars and bathrooms were. All of us on this tour were treated with respect and Ike made it easy for all of us to feel at ease and comfortable. We were able to interact with Ike and Brent along with each other during our travel time to and from each club, making this tour a seamless, enjoyable, and memorable experience.

Great way to sample variety Austin offers - So glad we signed up for this tour. While in town for a conference, hubs and I wanted to experience the music scene but were unsure where to go. This tour gave us a good variety, while also explaining other venues we might consider with our limited time. Jaqs (our guide) and Kelty (the driver) did a great job keeping us all engaged and explaining not only the venue, but history and facts of the neighborhoods we visited. Our first stop was The Continental, where we listened to Rock (I'd consider it Alternative rock), which took me back to my 20's. Then we traveled across town to The Sahara for Afrobeats. I never would have looked for a venue like this, but it was our favorite spot! Finally, we ended at C-Boys for some Americana/Country. Although my husband and my music taste differs (I enjoyed all three venues) it was still a fun time at each spot. I would do this again if we're here and recommend this especially if you have limited time in town.

The best way to see a bunch of music venues all in one night! - First - have to say that Joey Z was the best tour guide we have had in many cities we have visited. He was so light-hearted - got to know us a bit and our group to make the night the best experience. We visited 3 venues - all different. First was a honky tonk venue - we danced, order tacos from a food cart and next was a great small venue downtown with a great singer and dancing and wrapped up the night at a 3rd venue. Luke was a great professional driver also. Perfect 10 stars if I could. A must when visiting Austin.
