Austin history, bat flight - Mark was a fabulous driver and history teller. He was fun, informative and considerate. Our boat ride was great except the tour guide was speaking a little too loud over his microphone. He was humorous and informative. He placed the boat I. The best viewing spot! This trip definitely exceeded my expectations/hooes!!

A Must Do When Visiting Austin - Mike is very knowledgeable about Austin as well as being outgoing and humorous. The tour was well organized and enjoyable. The boat tour was excellent and I really enjoyed the architecture of Austin from the water view. The bats put on the most amazing and awesome show and our vantage point was incredible. Well worth the money for the experience.

Bat Boat and Van Review - The bat boat tour was amazing and so was our tour guide on the boat. He was very informative and entertaining. Our van driver was not professional at all and actually gave us the wrong place to meet to start the tour, after I told him I had a Vietnam veteran that was handicapped and had trouble walking.

Super fun time! Our family had a wonderful experience on our tour. Our guide was fantastic! - Our family has a great time with another couple that we did not know. A small boat is the only way to go! We learned so much about Austin as well as the bats under the bridge.

Misleading description of trip - This trip was sold as a night tour & bat boat cruise, but it was more like a cab to the boat a little bit of information on the way. It was hardly a tour of Austin. The boat cruise was very short. Seeing the bats was an amazing experience. The description of the trip was misleading & over priced

Not Worth It! - What a rip off! You can ride the bout tour for $14.00 as a walk on, or book with the boat operator directly. This appears to be subcontracted by viator or their driver. The driver who picked us up seemed at first to be somewhat knowledgeable and was feeding us some interesting factoids about Austin. However, when he told us that the median age in Austin is 35 years old, and the average salary earned is $80k and the averge home price is over $800k. Well thats when we knew he was a moron. As we approached the boat dock, our driver told us was splitting our group up and he sent 2 of us to one boat and the 3 others to another boat, then he disappeared. When we arrived at the boat dock we were suprised to see several boats that held approximately 40 people on the pontoons and approximately one hundred on the double decker boat. This tour is advertised as a "small group" tour. I would say being crammed onto a flatbed pontoon boat with 40 people sitting on plastic patio chairs was not comfortable nor was it a small group. Next the boat was being operated by a juvenile approximately 12 or 14 years old who readily admitted it was his first time operating the boat - and we could tell. Although nothing bad happened, he operated the boat without incident, but sometimes unsure of his proper operation. Good news is the adult tour guide on the boat was definitely very knowledgeable about the bats and other things Austin and was certainly in direct supervision of the child operating the boat. More good news is that we saw an incredible display of the bats leaing the bridge. Phenomenal! When we returned to the shore, we could not locate our drivier but waited at the van and eventualy he showed up. As he proceeded to take the 5 of us to our destination, he recommended a so-called really good taco truck in the SOCO area. We asked if he could drop us off there instead of our hotel and we would uber back later. So we go up to order the special birria tacos and the taco guy says he's sorry but he is sold out and in the process of closing! WTF. Luckily the moron driver hasd driven himself into a very tight spot and was in the midst of making a 17-point turn in order to get the van turned around and we were able to get back in and get a ride back to our hotel. It was oddly comedic and certainly holding to the "keep Austin Wierd" mantra. but essentially, we paid $198 ($99ea) for a 10 cent driver and a $14.00 boat ride. Can I get refund in the amount of$169.80?

Not worth 100 - Not worth 100 each they put us in a boat that cost 14 each that was the main attraction , the guide was super nice but , I won’t do it again I would just book the boat cruise for 14 and u er back and forth to the hotel and it will still be a lot cheaper

They missed the boat - The guide never showed up and we waited in the hot sun for an hour at the spot we were told was the “central pick up place”. Very disappointed!
