• Congress Avenue - Congress Avenue served as the main street of Austin during its wild west era. The historically preserved buildings here remind us of a time when the honor code prevailed and disputes were settled personally. This part of the tour will feature some thrilling tales and a visit to a local bar.
• West 4th Street - In the wild west days of Austin, this area was a bustling red light and warehouse district. Our second bar visit will be here, with time allocated for both the bar stop and the intriguing stories shared along the way.
• The Driskill - This stunning hotel, established in 1886, will be a stop on our way to the fourth bar.
• 6th Street - No recounting of Austin’s outlaw years is complete without mentioning 6th Street. We’ll take a leisurely walk down 6th Street en route to our fourth bar. Although we won’t visit any bars on 6th Street, the tour concludes just a block away, allowing you to return and enjoy the nightlife.
• Seven Grand - There are two potential ending points, and this is likely where the tour will conclude. It’s a whiskey and tequila bar featuring one of Austin’s finest taco stands.
