Fun and Fantastic way to see Austin Bats! - We had a giant paddle board and our group of three easily fit on ( it could have held 5 or 6 easily). The trip was very organized and the bats were epic that night! Easy to get on and off the boards and no worries of even getting a drop of water. There was a part when we got to the bat sight were we all hung out and the guide told us the history of the bats and some fascinating bat information but really it was at your own pace and super fun to paddle to and from the bats. I highly recommend this to see the bats and have fun while doing it. The people on the bridge had to stand for a couple of hours while we got to paddle and laugh and saw an epic bat show from every angle possibly. Highly recommend and would do it again!

Unforgetable! - Boats and Bats was hands-down the highlight of my trip to Austin! We booked the Downtown Sunset Kayaking tour, and watching 1.5 million bats take flight while floating on the water was absolutely breathtaking. Aaron was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. If you're looking for a unique, exciting, and well-organized tour in Austin, Boats and Bats is the way to go! I can’t recommend them enough!

Would Recommend - We had a wonderful time! We were a group of four, and Aaron reached out to me via text on the day of our tour, recommending that we use a giant paddleboard instead of two kayaks. He was correct. It was great that we could all be together, and there were four of us to paddle one vessel. I would recommend this to others!

Amazing experience! Professional team! Great for families! - Phenomenal experience! I’ve lived in Austin for approximately 20 years and have always wanted to do a tour like this. The team at Boats and Bats led by Aaron completely exceeded my expectations. I went with my wife, my 6 year old and a family friend and we were all legitimately blown away and thrilled by this tour and the people who led it. My son thoroughly enjoyed being on the water and loved learning all the amazing facts about the bats. I highly recommend this tour to visitors and locals alike. You will not be disappointed. 10 out of 10!
