Enjoying the bat... - Enjoying the bat migration on a kayak in Austin Texas was one of my favorite memories of the entire trip. To see the migration of the bats from the bridge made it so much more special. Our tour guide was wonderful! City lights are a sight to see and weather was beautiful. 10/10 would recommend

Very informative and very... - Very informative and very fun! We were able to learn a lot about Austin’s history while kayaking. The bats were really cool to see as well and our tour guide did a great job guiding us to see all the best things !

Blake was great! Must do this kayak on the river to see the bats! - Really great experience for a solo person (single kayak) or with a friend (double kayak). Find street parking or parking garages nearby because there is no parking where you meet. Check in was simple, explanations on paddle safety were clear, our guide, Blake was knowledgeable on the history of Austin, the buildings, bats, etc. Fun to paddle on the river and stay to watch the bats leave the bridge. It’s a must do!

Must do - An ‘Austin only’ experience. The largest urban bat colony in the USA. It was a great experience learning a bit about bats, history, and people watching!

An Austin must-do - A relaxing night on the water. Our guide, Sam, was great. His knowledge of Austin and the surrounding area kept us entertained while waiting for the bats to come out. He was also patient and understanding when it came to the less experienced peddlers. Seeing the bats come out at sunset was a truly unique and amazing sight.

Bat Kayak trip - This was a wonderful way to see the bats fly out from under Congress St. bridge. Finding the location was easy. We enjoyed an hour of kayaking on the river and learning about Austin. The second hour we hung out around the bridge, with MANY other spectators to see the nightly mass exodus of the bats. It was so cool!!! Also very impressive was being on the water after dark and enjoying the incredible skyline. Sam was our tour guide. He was super! I highly recommend this trip!

The best way to see the bats - This was one of the highlights of my trip to Austin. Our guide, Quinn, was friendly and knowledgeable and did an excellent job orienting us, leading us down the river, and telling us about wildlife in and around the water and the sites beyond.
The scenery - including watching the city skyline light up as darkness fell - was lovely. Watching the bats emerge by the thousands from beneath the bridge was the highlight, and Quinn guided us to the perfect spot to watch.
I did find it difficult to figure out where to meet when I arrived - some signage or clearer instructions would have been helpful. I also found communication with the company to be inconsistent. I sent a note asking what to bring/wear and got no response. That info would be helpful to know up front as part of the activity description.
Nitpicks aside, this was an outstanding tour, well worth the price of admission.
