This was an extremely fun and educational way to see Catalina! - This was an extremely fun and educational way to see Catalina in it's truest form. Our guide Beth was an islander with a wealth of knowledge and a willingness to share the colorful history. I had no idea that the Wrigley's had such a huge impact on the island's development and it's conservation! We went for a thrilling if not cold ride up into the mountains to see the views from up at 1500 feet, we discovered hidden valleys and coves, and saw all the wildlife available on the island. We even saw a nesting family of bald eagles. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it! Bring warmer clothes because its cooler up in the mountains! And hold on tight because its going to be a bumpy ride!

A Great Birthday Surprise - My sister surprised me with this tour as part of my birthday weekend celebration. It was such a wonderful introduction to Avalon and our tour guide Lili made the experience that much better. She is very knowledgeable and was so welcoming, it was like spending time with a friend. The food is great and the community is super friendly, overall a really great experience. Would definitely do it again!

Great introduction to Avalon - Arriving on Catalina late morning, this tour was the perfect way to combine an entertaining introduction to Avalon with a wonderful tasting tour of many good restaurants and food outlets. Janet provided an interesting history of the island as well as showing us around to the venues.

Loved Every Minute. - Janet was wonderful. Food was delicious. Great stories of Catalina Island history. No shortage of fascinating people and their lives. The info Janet gave us made our next day self-directed touring all the more meaningful.

Wonderful experience - Valentines weekend on Catalina is a beautiful getaway for my husband and I. Signing up for this food tour was definitely a wonderful experience. Lili was our guide, she was lively and Fun. What you can expect from this tour is 3 hours of sampling food, drinks, treats and learning a little history of Catalina. For the rest of the weekend we went back to some of the places on the tour stops. Thanks to Lili, I think we love Catalina “almost” as much as she does.

Wonderful Food / Interesting Facts and History of Santa Catalina - This is our second time taking the "Avalon Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour"! Lili was our guide both times -- enthusiastic, knowledgeable, always watching that each person on tour is treated well. Food is excellent! A blend of various tastes -- appetizers, entrees, drinks, and dessert. Well worth the money and the time!
