- Praia da Barra - At Praia da Barra, visitors can admire the man-made opening where the lagoon meets the sea. Constructed in the early nineteenth century using stones from Aveiro’s medieval city walls, this structure is complemented by the impressive lighthouse that enhances the stunning Atlantic scenery, perfect for a leisurely seaside stroll.
- Costa Nova - The tour includes a walk through Costa Nova, featuring the iconic striped wooden houses that were once fishermen’s homes. These houses now form part of one of Portugal’s most picturesque and unique coastal landscapes. There will also be an opportunity to savor Portuguese custard tarts (Pasteis de Nata) at a local bakery.

Museu Vista Alegre - The next stop is Vista Alegre, a quaint settlement home to the renowned Vista Alegre Factory, established in 1824 and famous for its ceramics and glassware. The museum visit includes the chance to observe artists painting ceramic pieces in the workshop (note: the workshop is closed on weekends).
In Vista Alegre, the tour also includes a visit to the local chapel, Capela da Nossa Senhora da Penha de França, a seventeenth-century national monument adorned with Portuguese tiles (azulejos) and frescoes.
Before heading back to Aveiro, there will be a brief visit to the Factory shop and outlet.
