- Aveiro - Explore the city of Aveiro aboard one of its iconic boats, offering views of the four main urban canals. Our guides will accompany you, providing insights and sharing some hidden gems about the beautiful city of Aveiro.
- Canal Central de Aveiro - The primary canal of Aveiro city.
- Casa de Cha Arte Nova - A collaboration between Silva Rocha and Ernesto Korrodi, showcasing their originality and talent in one of the city’s most stunning buildings. Recognized as an architectural “ex-libris,” its facade is a masterpiece of sculpted stone and wrought iron, a hallmark of this artistic movement. The eagle atop the front elevation further accentuates this architectural gem. Today, it houses the Museum of Art and a Tea House, which transforms into a night entertainment bar in the evening.
- Museu de Arte Nova - The Art Nouveau Major Pessoa House.
- Antiga Capitania do Porto de Aveiro - The Captaincy building of the Port of Aveiro, now owned by the Municipality of Aveiro, is also known as “Capitania dos Arcos” and boasts a rich history. Built in 1830 on the arcades of a tidal mill, it is one of the city’s most iconic structures, noted for its superior architectural quality. Initially a support building for the José Ferreira Pinto Basto porcelain factory, it later housed the School of Industrial Design from 1903 to 1918. After changing hands several times, it was sold to the Ministry of the Navy in 1925 for Captaincy services. Renovated at the end of the 20th century, it now also serves as an art gallery and the Municipal Assembly.
- Centro de Congressos de Aveiro - The Cultural and Congress Center is housed in a landmark of Aveiro’s industrial architecture, originally known as “Fábrica Jerónimo Pereira de Campos,” built between 1915 and 1917 by Architect José Olímpio. Since its 1995 opening, it has been a premier venue for congresses, meetings, exhibitions, concerts, and plays. The building also hosts the Institute of Employment and Professional Training, the Employment Center, and municipal services. The artificial lake features the “Maria da Fonte” statue, which was controversially relocated in the 1960s due to its nudity. It was later placed here to bring luck to young unmarried women and now rivals Brussels’ Manneken Pis and Copenhagen’s Little Mermaid in its legendary status.
-
Monumento ao Ovo Mole - A sculptural ensemble of five elements: three shaped like traditional Aveiro egg sweets (the barrel, the mussel, the whelk) and two parallelepipeds with excavated molds of these shapes, as if they had been removed.

Forum Aveiro - Opened on September 29, 1998, Forum Aveiro was the country’s first open-air shopping center. It introduced a new concept in Portugal, emphasizing gardens, green areas, and public spaces. Located in the heart of Aveiro, it won the “Mipim Award 1999” for the best shopping center in Europe and the “Portugal Five Stars” award in 2018 for “Shopping Centers of Portugal.”

Salpoente - Located on the Cais de São Roque in Aveiro, the Salpoente restaurant occupies two historic salt warehouses. It pays tribute to the people and resources of the Ria de Aveiro region through exceptional cuisine. The restaurant offers a poetic blend of flavors and emotions in a modern, contemporary setting that honors art, tradition, and memorable moments.

Estatuas da Ponte - A set of four bronze statues at the four corners of the bridge over the Central Canal, now Praça Humberto Delgado. Each statue, slightly smaller than life-size, represents a traditional figure of the city: two from the workforce (Salineira and Marnoto) and two from festive occasions (Parceira do Ramo and Fogueteiro). THE SALINEIRA: wears traditional attire with a basket on her head; MARNOTO: dons traditional work clothes and salt-working tools; THE PARTNER OF THE BRANCH: wears festive women’s clothing with a long shawl and holds a bouquet of flowers; THE ROCKET: wears traditional Sunday clothes with a gabon, buckle shoes, cap, and a rocket in his left hand.

Unforgettable experience in Aveiro very nice boat trip, with a fun and interactive guide. - We had a wonderful experience on the boat tour through the canals of Aveiro! The environment was super relaxed and welcoming, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the city. Our guide was excellent — very friendly, communicative and with a great sense of humor, making the tour even more special. He interacted a lot with the group, told interesting curiosities and made sure everyone felt included. A lovely way to get to know Aveiro. I highly recommend.

Super nice! - The captain spoke very good German and sent us a lot of information about the city and its history parallel to the young man who spoke English and Spanish. That was great! Thank you Mr. Captain from Cuxhaven:)

An unforgettable walk on Aveiro River. - The views along the river were fabulous. The guide was very friendly. It is very worth contacting the Portuguese Venice. The travel time is enough to stay with a reasonable idea of Aveiro.

Very good walk - It is very worth taking this walk.
It was very pleasant the "captain and the master" are very well disposed and fun, with a lot of sense of humor, in addition to explaining things very well, and to answer all the questions about the history of the moliceers and the area of Aveiro.
It was a beautiful tour, fun and with lots of information.

Not the Best Walk, Expensive and Regular Guide - It wasn't a great experience. The Guide barely spoke loud enough to hear half of what he said. Nor did he seem very coordinated with the Moliceiro.
We had a problem with the Reservation. We made it online in the market of the same company and we got the proof four days after the purchase! They put a bad face on us by showing only the proof of mail and good thing Tiago, from AveiNest where we stayed interceded for us.
