Our guide Matilde was... - Our guide Matilde was very knowledgeable and helpful. Arles and St Remy were great! I wish the City of Arles had more prominent things about Van Gogh but that has nothing to do with the tour. Tour was great!

Getting to know Van Gogh - If you are lucky enough to have Nicholas as your guide, you will have a wonderful experience. He has a wealth of knowledge about the region but also about a lot of other things, like wine and the environment necessary to grow the vines. Everything about this tour is enjoyable. We had just the right amount of time to take in each specific attraction while still allowing us the opportunity to wander a bit on our own afterwards .

Excellent trip in the footsteps of Van Gogh - We had an excellent trip ‘in the footsteps of Van Gogh’. Our driver guide was very good, knew his subject very well and spoke excellent English. We had an extremely interesting time in Arles and at the monastery where Van Gogh was a patient. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour.

Excellent Tour and Guide - We met our guide, Joanne, in front of the office of tourism in Avignon. She was wonderful and very knowledgeable with a quick wit. The tour is not designed to show original art of Van Gogh but to take to those places and times that inspired the artist. The asylum is exceptionally moving when contemplating about the life and death of Van Gogh. Our guide was very good on this point. She was also very good driving a van on the narrow streets of Arles and St. Remy. Be sure to ask her why Missouri was important to France.
