Ifrane - Stop in Ifrane, often referred to as “Switzerland of Morocco,” to admire its beauty and capture unforgettable photos. Located in the Middle Atlas region between Fez and Marrakech, Ifrane is a top tourist attraction. The Ifrane National Park hosts the world’s largest cedar forest.
The local Barbary macaques in Ifrane are familiar with human visitors, allowing for close observation. These macaques roam in groups of 10-30 and are abundant throughout the park.
Azrou - Continue to Azrou, situated at 1250 meters above sea level. Azrou offers peace and tranquility with its charming medina and traditional souk. Wild Barbary Apes can be spotted near Azrou, nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains and surrounded by cedar forests.
Midelt - Proceed to Midelt for a delightful lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, cross the TIZI N TALGHAMT pass to Errachidia, enjoying the scenic views of the Ziz gorges. Midelt is centrally located between the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountain ranges.
Merzouga - Journey to the Erg Chebbi Dunes, passing through Aoufous and Erfoud, known for fossils and dates. Consider visiting a local fossil craft workshop. Then, head to the captivating Erg Chebbi, also known as Merzouga Dunes.
Arrive at the hotel and prepare for a 90-minute camel ride to witness the sunset. Travel to the camp on a dromedary and spend the night in a traditional nomad tent. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a bivouac amidst the sand dunes. The Morocco trip from Fes continues after breakfast the following day.
MERZOUGA ERG CHEBBI DUNES - ERFOUD - TINEJDAD - TODRA GORGES - DADES GORGES
Merzouga - Rise early to watch the sunrise from a dune in the Sahara Desert, followed by breakfast. After these beautiful moments, return to the hotel on camelback for a shower. Depart for Tineghir, passing through Erfoud and Tinejdad.
Gargantas del Todra - Explore the wonders of Todra. The Todra Gorges are deep-sided canyons carved by fast-flowing rivers on the eastern side of Morocco’s High Atlas mountains, leading to the coastal lowlands.
Winding paths traverse these high limestone wadis, offering stunning desert views and dramatic cliff-like landscapes, interspersed with traditional Berber villages.
Dades Gorges - Discover the Dades Valley. A winding road, known locally as the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” leads to the renowned Dades Gorge in Morocco’s breathtaking scenery. Arrive in Boumalne du Dades or Kalaa M’gouna for a panoramic view of the Dades Valley. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
DADES - KELAA M’GOUNA - OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH
El Kelaa M’gouna - The tour from Fes continues today. After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Ouarzazate via Skoura. Visit Kelaat M’Gouna, also known as El-Kelaa, home to the largest rose water and rose oil producers in the country.
Ouarzazate - Pause for a panoramic view of the kasbah of Taourirt and another photo opportunity near the Atlas film studios. Discover Ouarzazate, often called Hollywood Morocco, a gateway to the Great South of Morocco and a genuine movie set. This city features palm trees, sandy streets, and fort-like buildings, as seen in numerous films.
Ait Ben Haddou - Visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the village. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, Aït Benhaddou was a significant stop along the caravan route between Marrakech and the Sahara.

Marrakech - In the afternoon, drive to Marrakech over the High Atlas mountains, passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Drop off in Marrakech.
Founded nearly a thousand years ago, Marrakech is one of the major cities of the Maghreb. The name Marrakech comes from the Amazigh (Berber) words amur (n) kush, meaning “Land of God.” It is the third-largest city in Morocco.
