- Canal de los Piratas - As participants paddle into the Pirates Channel, they will experience a stunning sunrise. The serene waters of the lagoon and its vibrant hues create an unforgettable scene, ideal for connecting with nature and its calming sounds. Upon reaching the canal, there will be free time to swim and explore the shallow turquoise waters. Meanwhile, the guide will prepare a delightful breakfast to rejuvenate everyone, featuring fresh seasonal fruit, coffee, and toast.
- Lago Bacalar (Lake of the Seven Colors) - On the return journey, participants will observe mangroves, endemic birds, and stromatolites, ancient formations vital to the lagoon’s ecosystem. Beautiful Morning - Miguel was our guide and an incredible host. His knowledge of the lakes biology and local history was informative and entertaining. I definitely recommend this early morning tour.

Worth it. 100% worth it - A total experience. We had such a good time with our guide Romel, he is very expert in everything he talks about and the views when the sun goes up are exceptional.

A fantastic experience! - I loved every aspect … seeing the sunrise while on a SUP board, lovely breakfast, swimming in the lagoon and visiting the mangroves. Miguel was an excellent and very personable guide. Would highly recommend!

MUST DO activity. So worth the early rise - 100% worth getting up in the dark and trekking to the lagoon while it’s still dark. Once you get in the water is warm and the views of the sunrise are
Immaculate. Our guide romel was so knowledgeable of the area and bacalar lagoon. The breakfast was exquisite! We will be back every time:

Easy also for beginners,... - Easy also for beginners, nice atmosphere. Unique experience for anyone, old or young, fit or less fit. You can also go with a canoe, if you don't like SUP

For this, even my friend wants to get up early - This morning I did a stand up padel tour with Romel! This is definitely worth the early rise. Romel is a super fun guide and tells all about the area and also tries to learn different languages. He greeted us in Dutch and the Germans in German. Also speaks good English. While you watch the sunrise he prepares a delicious breakfast. After this you go to cynote negro where you can also swim if you want. Hot water! He keeps your stuff or phone if you want (you can also keep it yourself (they have waterproof bags)) and can ask you during the tour. Definitely recommended!!

Waking up early was worth it for this experience! - Had an amazing time with Miguel during our sunrise tour! Visited a few spots and he was super informative and patient with everyone. A very chill activity and you can enjoy the lake at your own pace. We booked via Viator and their team will communicate through WhatsApp a few days before the tour. They are very accommodating and responsive.
