Great salsa experience with delicious margaritas and guacamole! - Great first experience with salsa! Jessica is a very nice and good teacher. We got a delicious margarita and then the dancing (almost) went by itself with good instructions from Jessica. The guacamole was also delicious, highly recommended! In the afternoon we went with her husband on their catamaran over the Laguna. Also a super experience and definitely nice to book! The catamaran has no engine so you only sail and the beautiful nature of the Laguna is preserved. A fantastic day!

Successful salsa experience - I decided to book this salsa lesson for my husband and I. We had tried to salsa dance a decade ago but found the experience a bit overwhelming in a large dance class. We had great success in this one hour class with Jessica. She’s a wonderful instructor who provided excellent instruction in s very clear manner. We were doing turns towards the end of class. The location is overlooking the lagoon, nice and peaceful. The margaritas were delicious. We plan to continue with lessons when we return home since her instruction proved to us that we were capable. Highly recommend this as a non-touristy activity.

Energetic, educational SALSA workshop - What a fantastic experience! A delicious salsa workshop on a beautiful platform on the lagoon! Full of energy we were welcomed by the inspired Jessica. With great enthusiasm we got a short salsa explanation with a delicious homemade Margarita and guacamole in hand. Soon our hips were loosened and Jessica took us into the base of the Salsa! Super fun! Definitely recommended for a variety of all water activities!

A fun experience!! - First of all, Jessica is super friendly, enthusiastic and a very good and attentive teacher! The salsa session was right at the lagoon, so we had a very nice view. We got drinks and a really delicious homemade guacamole! After a little talk we started to learn some basics and we had a lot of fun! Jessica explained the steps really well and we practiced them with small adjustments from Jessica until we got them right. My boyfriend had 0 dance experience and I had a little, but I had never danced salsa before. We learned a lot in that class and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time!

Salsa - Amazing experience to try salsa for the first time! We were welcomed with great guacamole and margaritas on the small pier that had a beautiful view of the lake before starting the class. Jessica and Yanis were super friendly and made us feel very comfortable from the start. We learned the basics to be able to dance salsa, all in a pace that felt perfect for us. It was so fun we went to a local place they recommended the next day to practice some more!

Expectations absolutely exceeded - We are absolutely thrilled with the dance class and can recommend it 100 percent! Yanis was a great dance teacher and we felt in good hands with him. He put a lot of effort into teaching us the dance steps in a simple and playful way. The humor was never neglected, which we particularly liked. The absolute highlight was that the dance class took place on a jetty directly at the lagoon and we were even there alone. We did not expect this and were accordingly enthusiastic about the location. The delicious margarita and guacamole have rounded off the whole top. A really great dance lesson, thank you Yanis!

Now my kids love dance. - My kids (ages 20 and 24) didn’t really want to go learn to dance salsa, with strangers, on our epic Yucatán trip. But, as cheerful travelers, they agreed. It ended up being one of the highlights of the entire week- rivaling a boat tour and private beach in Sian Ka’an. Jessica and Yunis - lively and talented- got all of doing complicated moves very quickly. I have taken dance lessons before but love the way they broke the steps down quickly and had us practice with each other (another family with adult kids). The margaritas and guacamole were delicious too. The kids liked it so much we practiced in public later in our trip and salsa dance might work its way into our family life (not just mine).
