Experience history, honor your ancestors. - This tour was so insightful. If you are looking for a firsthand experience in a deep understanding of the slave trade history, I highly recommend this tour. It's also very beautiful for someone of the dispora to return for your ancestors left the continent for the Americas. It's a true honor to be in that space and experience and see for your own eyes what they endured prior to their journey. Each guide at the site is extremely knowledgeable and pofessional, pack water, wear comfortable shoes. You'll enjoy the boat ride to the point of no return and also the option of the bike ride down or if you prefer to walk down. The roads, if you're coming in from Lagos was a very safe, it was easy to navigate all the checkpoints highly recommend this tour as a must do. Our guides, Victoria and driver Ade,were absolutely incredible..

Badagry tour - We met Victoria our tour guide, and the driver. They were both super kind and helpful during the trip. We were given an insightful tour of Badagry and the trans-Atlantic slave trade history. I would highly recommend, though the tour is slightly pricey.

Amazing Day Tour - I recently had the opportunity to explore Badagry with Samap Travels & Tours LTD, and it was an unforgettable experience. My guide, Victoria, was exceptional—knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about sharing the rich and complex history of the area. The visit to Badagry was both enlightening and emotional. Victoria provided detailed insights into the history of the transatlantic slave trade and how it profoundly shaped the community. Walking through historical sites like the Slave Port and Point of No Return was a sobering experience that left a lasting impression. Victoria’s storytelling brought the history to life, and her sensitivity to the subject matter made it all the more impactful. I also appreciated the company’s commitment to creating meaningful experiences while supporting local communities. Their professionalism and flexibility stood out; they ensured everything ran smoothly and accommodated additional requests to enhance the tour. Samap Travels & Tours LTD offers more than just tours—they provide deeply educational and thought-provoking journeys. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have learned so much about Badagry’s history and its legacy, and I would definitely book with them again.

Rite of Passage - This trip was a rite of passage for us. Deeply humbling and personal. I employ all African-Americans to make this journey at least once in their lifetime. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable of the history and significance of the "Point of No Return".
