• Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino - At the Bodbe Monastery, where the revered Georgian saint, Nino, is laid to rest, visitors can explore the Christian heritage of Georgia and discover the legend of why Nino was interred in Bodbe. Guests may immerse themselves in the healing waters of the holy spring and perhaps hear the prayers of countless generations of believers.
• Signagi - Affectionately known as “the city of love,” Signagi offers the unique opportunity to marry at any time of day. It is also where artist Niko Pirosmani famously scattered flowers for his beloved, inspiring the song “Million Scarlet Roses.” Visitors can stroll through Italian-style streets, view the longest fortress wall in Europe, and take in the stunning views of the Alazani Valley. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing lunch at a welcoming home restaurant, where the hosts will share the traditions of the Kakheti feast and invite guests to help prepare khinkali.
• Kindzmarauli Corporation Wine House - The history of Kindzmarauli Corporation is intertwined with the construction of the historic Kvareli Fortress in the region. The prison cellar was dedicated to producing wine exclusively for royal families. Kindzmarauli Cellar boasts a library of extensive vineyards with over 400 vine varieties. Visitors can tour the renowned Kindzmarauli Winery, explore the factory, and savor their wine. Please note, wine tasting is not included in the tour price.
• Tunnel Winery Khareba’s - Winery Khareba features a unique and rare wine cellar located in Kvareli, within the Alazani Valley. This cellar/tunnel, carved into the Caucasus mountains, stretches 7.7 kilometers. Guests have the chance to taste over 40 varieties of Winery Khareba wines, bake their own bread, participate in the Chacha-making process, and prepare “Churchkhela.” Please note, wine tasting is not included in the tour price.
