The Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the world’s first monumental stone building, was constructed by the engineer Imhotep nearly 5,000 years ago and still stands today. After touring the complex, continue to one of the nearby Mastabas (tombs), such as those of Ptah-Hotep, Mereruca, Idut, or Ti, for an interior visit.
Pyramids of Giza - Next, head to the Giza Plateau, home to the only remaining Wonder of the Ancient World, the majestic Pyramids of Giza.

Its open central courtyard measures 92×91 meters and is surrounded by an open corridor. The mosque is renowned for its rich gypsum ornaments and engravings. Its minaret features a unique external staircase winding from the ground to the top.
