This unique journey takes you through a variety of pyramid types, particularly the Miedum pyramids, which are older than the Pyramids of Giza and are rarely visited by tourists. Located 95 km southwest of Cairo from the third dynasty, your next stop will be the Dahshur pyramids. These structures were created by King Senefru in the fourth dynasty around 2600 BC and include the Red, Bent & Black pyramids. The final site is Sakkara, home to the first pyramid ever built in Egypt by King Zoser in the third dynasty around 2700 BC, the Step Pyramid. You’ll also have the opportunity to view the earliest tomb designs in Egypt, known as Mastabes, predating the pyramid designs.
