Exceptional Tour - HIGHLY RECOMMEND - This is absolutely the best tour! Our private guide (Anan) and driver (Haitham) accompanied us for a full day of exploration. We didn’t need to think about logistics, everything was so well organised and flowed beautifully. Visiting Cairo for the first time, we of course wanted to visit the Pyramids of Giza, they were everything we hoped for, but the special bit for us was the opportunity to experience the lesser visited sites to explore and learn more about the development of the pyramids, seeing the stepped pyramid and the bent and red pyramid (going inside at least one is definitely advised!) Anan was even able to arrange a short private view inside the Tomb of Mehu - the wall art was mesmerising and a real treat. Anan was so knowledgeable and welcomed our curiosity. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Hidden gem not to be missed! - Wow - what a trip! Hidden gems of Egypt, and if you are in Cairo, it is one trip you have to do. Our guide, Mahmoud Ismail, was exceptional from beginning to end of trip. We fitted in such a lot but were not rushed or pushed as you sometimes experience on trips. Mahmoud was super knowledgeable and funny throughout the day and knew the times for us not to queue to get in the pyramids that you have to experience! The stepped pyramid was amazing to see and hear the history, and the red pyramid is a must but not for the faint-hearted as quite a decent and climb but so worth it when you get there. He knew the restaurant that had the wow factor for lunch, too, and we dined with a clear view of the pyramids. Nothing was too much trouble for Mahmoud, and he made sure we had the time and asked as many questions as we wanted at each stop. Make sure you stop at the bent pyramid and not pass it for a photo as it is just wonderful up close. Memphis was something else and had the wow factor. Make sure you do the new museum before you visit here, as you can really appreciate the monuments and see the twin of Ramses! In essence, you have to do this trip, and if you can get this guide as he is amazing and not pushy at all , we felt so at ease, which made the trip more enjoyable.

Learnt a great deal about the Step and Bent pyramid - Shaimaa was my guide and Joseph was the driver. To begin Joseph was an excellent driver. I felt totally safe. Shaimaa was punctual and provided factual interesting information throughout the tour. She was great at helping take photos for me given I was a solo traveller. The climb into the Bent pyramid was an adventure. The lunch was lovely but the soft drink was totally overpriced and would recommend others to be aware at this restaurant. I was very satisfied with the services of both the guide and the driver. Thank you very much for an enjoyable day.

Fabulous excursion - My driver and guide (Ahmed) arrived promptly. The car was spotlessly clean. Ahmed was very knowledgeable and interesting. As I had visited Saqqara before I wanted to visit certain tombs and wanted to go inside the pyramids of Dashur, Ahmed took it on board and made my excursion ideal. I was given plenty of history and time to wander around alone. At Dashur he explained the layout inside and lots of background to the red and bent pyramid. Next stop was Memphis again lots of information (but not too much that was overwhelming) and time to wander. Would definitely recommend this trip and Ahmed is an excellent guide. There was no pushing to visit the papyrus/carpet factory which i really appreciated.

A Great Experience - Most visitors skip the sites covered by this tour and it is their loss. Saqqara and Dahshur are magnificent sites with pyramids, mastabas, mortuary temples, and enchanting sceneries. The tour itself was perfect. The two of us were picked up at our hotel and had the guide (Nader) to ourselves the entire time (which was about 5-6 hours). His knowledge is extensive and his advice about which pyramids to go into was invaluable. If you have an extra day in Cairo after seeing the sites there, we would thoroughly recommend this tour especially if you want an experience that is totally private.

Great trip to Saqqara and Memphis - Another great day with Meraa our tour guide to Saqqara. She was really knowledgable about the sites visited and we were blown away by everything we saw. It finished with a fantastic lunch overlooking the Giza pyramids. Would definitely recommend this trip!

Great tour - but expect a late lunch. - We had a great day out at Saqqara seeing the step pyramid, bent pyramid and serapeum. The serapeum option is a must do. Being my 5th trip to Egypt - this is something I didn’t know about and really enjoyed. I travelled with my niece and whilst the driver probably thought it was a joke - he introduced himself as Osama bin Laden and that my niece had a bomb under her seat. Knowing people from 911 and the gravity of what this man did - I did not find this funny. At the end of the day my retort was that we had survived despite being driven by Osama bin Laden. Our guide was ok but frequently commented that we weren’t asking enough questions. He was good enough to give us an option of visiting a spice place which was awesome. Lunch occurred after 4pm. It was at a great venue overlooking the pyramids and very tasty - but we were starving at this point. An enjoyable tour - would have been 5* - except for the inappropriate introduction and lateness of the lunch.
