Departure from Bali to Kawah Ijen

Kawah Ijen - Guests are picked up in Seminyak or “Canggu - Mengwi - Ubud” (designated pick-up location for those coming from Canggu, Mengwi, and Ubud). The journey continues to Gilimanuk port, followed by a ferry ride to Java (approximately 1 hour). After obtaining the necessary medical certificate, guests are transferred to a village near Kawah Ijen. Dinner and an overnight stay are arranged at the GOOD KARMA Ijen guesthouse.

Kawah Ijen Hike and Drive to Bromo

Ijen Crater - The adventure begins around 1:00 AM with a departure to the base camp at an altitude of 1,900 meters. A 1.5-hour hike with experienced guides leads to the summit at 2,300 meters. Guests then descend into the crater, where they may witness the mesmerizing blue flames (visibility depends on volcanic activity and weather conditions) and enjoy the sunrise over the acidic lake. After a traditional breakfast with a local family, the journey continues towards Bromo. Following a lunch break, guests arrive at the village of Bromo, situated at 2,300 meters altitude.

Sunrise at Bromo and Transfer to Java or Return to Bali

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park - The day starts at 3:30 AM with a 4x4 jeep ride to the volcano, followed by an ascent of Mount Bromo to witness the sunrise. The journey continues to the Seruni viewpoint, offering a more tranquil experience. After breakfast, guests are transferred to Probolinggo (with a 10:45 AM train connection to Yogyakarta) or back to Bali.
