Great show - Please go early show so you can see the sunset. They packed that place like crazy like wish they didn’t do that. Hanuma was amazing in the show. Very good show must watch.

Good show - Given the 7:00 PM show time, we did not anticipate such extensive wait times at the gate stage. To mitigate the effects of the humidity, we recommend bringing water and a portable mini fan. Overall it was good experience.

Fire dance at ullawatu - I would recommend buying tickets for the fire dance on line before you attend. The 1800 performance will catch the sunset. It’s a frenzy to get seats. Good idea to sit behind exit for unobstructed view. Interesting traditional dance, definitely worth a visit. Temple itself can be visited in less than an hour.

No idea what was going in - Recommend you read up about the story otherwise you will have no idea what is going on during this experience. Arrive early because getting in is a bit chaotic.

Overcrowded venue - Venue too crowded. It appears there was no limit to the number of guests. Third world experience as the venue was allowed to be packed beyond its capacity. The guests were allowed to sit in the sreos/exits abd on the floor. Disregard to safety.

Disappointing performance - Unfortunately, although we enjoyed touring the temple, we wish we had passed on attending the fire dance. In addition to standing in line for an hour, the grooves in the concrete “benches” were very uncomfortable and everyone was packed in so tightly that we couldn’t move at all. I’m sure that the Hindus in the audience enjoyed the performance more than most people, but we found the yelling and chanting of the men was tiring after the first few minutes. We did find the antics of Hanoman (the white ape) to be the most entertaining part of the performance.

Fire dance - We went here as part of a day in Uluwatu. The temple grounds are lovely as long as can hold on to your belongings from the cheeky monkeys. I wish I gave the dance a miss so I could see more of the temple grounds. The dance was ok 5/10, but very hot and crowded. All seats get a reasonable view of the dance, but you are packed in. It goes for 45 minutes with two shows, one at 6, and one 7. I saw the 6pm show. I’m sure there is people who would rate this higher, but it wasn’t our thing in the end and I found it hard to follow the storyline. Anyway, I got a couple of laughs out of it. Just try to get to your car quick when it ends, the traffic home is horrendous.

Too long and painfully boring - The Kecak dance show was a horrible experience — far too long and painfully boring. The performance dragged on with little variation, and the seating was extremely uncomfortable. People were packed so tightly that some were even blocking the emergency exits, which felt unsafe. Definitely not worth the time or the money. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Much more expensive than normal - If you buy directly at the Temple it will be only 150k for 1 adult ticket, it mean 600k for 4. I bought 4 here and it cost 956k. What's wrong with this platform??? The dance is nice and unique. But what the platform did is so unacceptable.

Worst experience - Biggest waste of money! and time waited in a long line with people pushing in front of me only to be blocking emergency way and the show wasnt even worth it considering the reviews. Thank god it wasnt during the hot sun like others as i heard that was worse. Dont waste your time!
