Amazing Experience and Great People - We had an exceptional experience with our tour booked with On The Beach Tours. We visited the Waterfall at Los Llanos. The guides were very helpful, got us there before the crowd, and helped us take some amazing pictures. Alina Arias did a great job helping us to book the tour. Jose Juaquin Soto was very helpful to ensure we knew where to go and provided clarity on expectations. But, Ricardo Ruiz, our tour guide gave us the red-carpet treatment. He and his co-lead, Juan Carlos provided a commendable experience. They really took the time to improve every experience along the tour. We also had great transportation accommodations with excellent drivers Erick and Manuel. I would highly recommend On The Beach Tours for your next Costa Rica adventure.

Amazing tours, great customer service and true kindness - We took two tours through On The Beach Tours and both were amazing! Abraham was our guide on both, he was very knowledgeable, personable, and fun! He pointed out all the wildlife and shared his binoculars so we could see things up close. He also put our phones up to the binoculars so we could get amazing pictures. We used this company because it was at our resort Occidental Papagayo. Larry welcomed us first thing and was always so friendly and told us helpful tips about the resort and tours , we booked our tours through JJ and he was also so friendly and helpful, honestly everyone that works for this company was so amazing and nice! The tours seem a little pricy but don’t let that deter you because you will be well taken care of ne have an experience and meet people you will never forget.

Excellent company and excursions - If you have the opportunity to use an excursion company while in Costa Rica I highly recommend this one. We had two excursions with them and our guide Jose for both and they were both amazing. We saw so much and Jose was excellent at explaining all of the different species of animals, frogs, birds and different things we would see and experience. He was also very helpful helping with photos and sharing them. We were so happy that we took this excursion and the excursion to the volcano, waterfall, hot springs/mud bath.

Fantastic Tour (Guanacaste coast to Bijagua de Upala) - This tour exceeded our expectations from organizers JJ and Anni to our fantastic tour guide Jose and driver Manuel! Since there were 5 of us, we arranged for a private van and Jose tailored the day based on what we were interested in seeing. They were experts at spotting sloths and toucans in trees along the road and we pulled over many times to view and photograph the wildlife. Our tour of the organic chocolate and coffee farm in Bijagua de Upala was expert led by Brenden who was very knowledgeable and guided us through a hands on tour of growing, harvesting and serving cacao, coffee, sugar cane and pineapple. The taste testing was terrific. Our day included lunch in an open air restaurant overlooking Tenorio Volcano. I can't say enough good things about our experience on this tour! In fact, our day was so great that we requested Jose and Manuel for a second day tour of birding and the Palo Verde River Cruise (reviewed separately).

Volcano and waterfall tour with lunch - Larry was an awesome guide. He was super knowledgeable about the ecology of the rainforest, we learned all about the species of plants, animals, etc. He knew it all. Spoke perfect English We saw some different species of monkeys took a dip in the mineral bath. Awesome day trip. highly recommend.
